Highly recommended!

Just returned from a week spent at this mountain hut, what can I say… a beautiful place in the Lagorai woods, splendid views, and the staff were fantastic! Basic but clean rooms. We took advantage of the half-board option, and the dishes were varied and excellent! The staff are kind and available for any request and/or advice; it is an ideal location as a starting point for various walks and trails of varying difficulty.
An excellent mountain hut if you are looking for tranquility and relaxation… without high expectations, but well taken care of! Don't miss the vast selection of grappas and liqueurs (including homemade ones).

Disappointing

After thirty years of not coming here until tonight, today I brought my family, I was disappointed, long wait times and disappointing food, the dumplings didn't even have a trace of speck, and I won't even mention the goulash I had (tough, it didn't melt in your mouth) and I'm not the only one who wrote this, I met people who came to you today and it's the same thing, slow and long service. total disappointment

Given the results... Make way for the young.

A preface: our experience was not just a stay, but a pleasant stop for dining.
We knew the place because we had been there several times in the past and had always had a good experience.
Since the beginning of the year, the management has changed: Ylenia, a girl from Pergine, who in previous years had worked at the establishment, has managed to surround herself with very eager and enterprising young people, maintaining what good she had learned before.
The menu offers a choice of 4 appetizers, 4 first courses, 5 main courses, and 6 desserts.
The focus is on respecting local foods, the quality is very high, and the service is welcoming and quick.
The wine list is very well-stocked, and even the house wine is of good quality.
The establishment presents a warm and inviting style, typical of a mountain venue.
The place is everything one could wish for: walks, excursions, small lakes, mountain huts, and other shelters are within easy reach, pardon, within easy walking distance.
In front, there is the stunning view of the Ortigara Range, Cima 11, and Cima 12.
Definitely a visit is warranted!

Beautiful refuge on Lagorai

We took the opportunity of the snow (ski mountaineering and walking) to stop and eat at the Serot Refuge. The place is well presented, rustic and welcoming. the friendly and understanding staff. Maybe because we were hungry but the food we found good, accompanied by good red wine. Panoramic position and starting point for excursions.

Disappointment

Strangely all the bad luck possible on New Year's Eve ..... lacks the DJ... lacks the warm-up... lacks the party.... boh strange..... at least a little discount and honesty could be appreciated. Lucky the place saved our night.
