Nice place, helpful host couple
Nice place with nice views and good toilet conditions.
Situated well in relation to excursion to Cinque Terre. Shuttlebus runs from the square to the train station.
With a large caravan it was a challenge to get into the square - it is recommended to get into the campsite up from the mountain (if a u-turn at a turning point that is only 1000 m from the campsite when you get from below)
Not so tourist, lovely authentic Italian atmosphere on the square.
At the pool area we could wish for more chairs. You could lay down on stone stairs with towels, but the stones were so hot that you almost burned yourself.

A private pitch and well run camp in the hills
We had a lovely shady pitch with a sink/ water supply and lots of privacy (pitch 77). Showers were quite good although my long suffering partner found them a shade too communal- she felt a little vulnerable as the cubicles were not fully separated from each other (gaps in partitions top and bottom) - everything was clean, a well stocked little shop and bar on site, laundry and a nice pool which got very busy at weekends .
A note on the location- if you do not have your own transport you may feel a little stuck here - electric bikes are a good idea - a walk into town from the camp is not easy and there are no footpaths to keep you safe - the shuttle runs into the station at 09:20 and picks you up at 18:10 if you are completely stuck .
At the weekends the mobile homes are very busy; silence is asked for at midnight so if you are used to early nights request a pitch away from the huts. There was also an infuriating alarm that beeped all night near us on a steady pulse. So bring your earplugs if this will bother you.
All in all this is a well run camp with great location if you have independent transportation- easy to get cinque terre - if you want the day pass for the five train stations then stop at Levante station- it is the only place to buy the pass. Recommended site for its clean facilities and for some nice pitches.
