Excellent customer service, exceptionally clean and fantastic breakfast.
Excellent hotel. Owners and staff are so welcoming and professional. Highly recommend. Breakfast is fabulous. The rooms are so clean and beds extremely comfortable. Location is excellent for exploring Soave. We stayed three nights with two teenage boys. Also ate in associated restaurant. Highly recommend. Good was best we had in Italy.

Poor management and no sense of customer service!
We checked into this hotel on 11th July 2024 for 2 nights as we were attending a wedding nearby. 2 Rooms were booked - Room 107 & 108 for the stay. What seemed initially as a very good hotel quickly descended to a total farcical display of extremely poor customer service and no comprehension of taking responsibility of ensuring guest comfort - specifically from the management team at the hotel.
When we checked in and went to the room, the temperature setting was 27C and almost no air flow was coming through the HVAC. I went down to the reception and explained so as they said it was all centrally controlled from the downstairs reception as it was this 'fully smart' hotel. Pressed some buttons and promised it was ok but in reality it continues to remain a very hot 27C in the room. We hoped it would get better and let it be for the night but as the night progressed, it only got warmer as clearly the a/c was not working due to the setpoint being so high. Saving electricity surely for the hotel but no comfort for the guests!
The next day we were occupied with the wedding and were out mostly apart from the odd hour in the room, which even then was at 27C.
In the evening, we had the wedding dinner and returned to the room around 11p.m. the temperature setting was now increased to 28C and no manual press of the control would alter anything. I called the hotel number and it just kept ringing through. My friend in 107 managed to get hold of someone and they said they would come and fix it but alas they did not turn up. Both rooms 107 and 108 had the same fixed setting from the computer at the reception. Never in my life have a heard of a hotel setting room temperatures for guests and then not being proactive when it is raised so as to manually allow it to be changed.
When we raised it the next morning at breakfast, the 'manager 1' claimed that it was a issue that affected the 'whole street' and it was something out of their hands. We shrugged it off and said fair enough things can go wrong. On check-out we asked another guest who were on the same block if they managed to get some sleep due to the a/c issues and they said theirs worked perfectly fine.
We raised this with the receptionist who immediately went on the defensive claiming that that was our opinion that it was too hot. We explained that we called the hotel at 11 p.m. to get someone to fix it, to which her reply was yes you hassled with 9 calls and that is not acceptable. The fact that 'manager 1' had straight lied to us about the 'whole street' being down was not even acknowledged.
Furthermore, when we asked to speak to the manger, she called a gentlemen who seems to be the chef/manager/owner and he said he was in Verona and would be unavailable to come to speak with us. Then switch tact to ' oh we can only speak in Italian or Spanish' to which I replied my wife can do that.
Having been backed in to a corner with their lies and with no sense of customer service, the receptionist now claimed she was the 'manager' and there is nothing she can do.
Total joke of hotel and lack of customer focus with the management team only focused on their bottom line and pack of lies to save face.
Would not recommend the hotel to anyone based on our experience.

Good Structure
Clean, spacious room, with a minimal and modern design. Comfortable bed. Access to the structure and the room via code provided via WhatsApp. A fairly well-stocked breakfast, with the possibility of having freshly made omelettes and/or scrambled eggs.

A nice experience
A structure in a very favorable position, just outside the walls, with municipal parking right in front. Large, modern rooms, comfortable bed. I didn't use the swimming pool but the idea is very original. Good breakfast, friendly staff. Good value for money.

Short break to Soave
Lovely small hotel with friendly staff, nice breakfast and a great swimming pool perfect for cooling off after a day exploring the local area. The location of the hotel is perfect being just outside the old city walls which meant a very short walk to all the restaurants and wine tasting rooms, we also walked up to the castle which took approx 10 minutes.
