Amazing owners and beautiful villa
Amazing owners, so sweet and welcoming. They do their absolute best to give advice on where to eat and what to visit even though they dont speak so much english.
Perfect if you rent a schooter or car. There is a local bus from the main bus station in sorrento (name:CASARLANO). Great local restaurant about 5 minutes walk from villa Irma. The villa i up on the mountain, took me about 45 minutes walking down the main road. I do not advice you to take smal roads Google Maps shows you. I didnt feel safe as the roads are very narrow and cars are driving down them fast.
Room are very nice and clean. Nothing to complain about.

we book room on booking.com, they promise sea view, but really we didn't see sea from our room(((
for me room was very dirty, dust everywhere, and hair in shower
very far from center, but we were by car
breakfast is very poor (owners, you have oranges and lemons in garden, why you didn't put it on table for breakfast)
first day Wi-Fi was normal, second day it disappeared
Owners don't speak English, very strange, if you work in this type of business, you need it
they have nice dog
beautiful garden

lovely villa run by a charming couple
The villa is in the hills above Sorrento, it is a lovely well kept property and the owners, Anna and Salvatore are a charming couple who make you very welcome and are most helpful in sorting out the best way of visiting places that you want to go to. The room was comfortable and well furnished, breakfast was good with home made cake baked by Anna. Being above the town it is a great retreat from the bustle of Sorrento and is peaceful with great views across the bay from the large garden. You are very free to wander around the garden and play with Argo, a sweet Collie
It is better to have your own transport but there is a bus to town a short walk away which runs every two hours. It stops at 18.45 so in the evening Salvatore does offer to collect you or you can take a cab. Walking to town is possible, we did it, but you might not be comfortable in that for a distance the road has no pavement. There is a local restaurant ten minutes walk away that serves very good food and wine at reasonable prices- local Italians eat there! The staff speak good English so there is not a language problem. A warning though- they do not open Mondays.

Complete lack of communication and weren't even in
If you're going to run an accommodation business it pays to keep on top of your bookings. We booked online via TA and received 2 emails confirming the booking then...nothing.
We advised in our booking we'd be arriving by train and would like to arrange the free shuttle advertised. No response to original request, subsequent email, voicemail left on one number or missed call on the other.
Decided to hike up the (steep) hill from the station anyway (in the rain). Arrived at 3pm to find gates shut and no sign of life aside from a dog which barked each time we rang the doorbell. So obviously someone at home but no response. Gave up after 10 mins and hiked back down the steep, slippery path/steps back to town.
Looked up other places to stay in town and saw the place STILL on TA as having vacancies. Terrible

Piacevole soggiorno
Villa irma è una perfetta soluzione per le coppie che, dopo un anno di lavoro, decidono di godersi un po' di meritato relax.
Situato in collina, a pochi km dal centro di Sorrento, gode di un ottimo panorama, stanze spaziose con bagno in camera prive, però, di televisione e aria condizionata, parcheggio riservato.
Colazione easy, con confetture e nutella in vaschetta e merendine imbustate.
Nota di merito ai gestori della struttura, Anna e Salvatore, gentili e disponibili pronti a dare qualsiasi consiglio utile su ristoranti spiagge e quant'altro.
Grazie per il piacevole, seppur breve soggiorno.
