My review is more than positive; we had a great time.. excellent welcome, great restaurant, polite staff, top-notch wellness area. We had a lot of fun; I recommend it to everyone, it is truly enchanting.

Magical place...Fantastic. Constructive criticism
We stayed at the Borgo Incantato in Spoleto and we found it to be a truly magical place, one of those where you feel attention, care, and love for what is done. ❤️
The staff is simply fantastic: kindness, helpfulness, and attention are truly top-notch. We also really appreciated the cleanliness of the rooms, always impeccable, and above all the relationship with the animals, managed with a sensitivity and respect that we found beautiful.
A special mention definitely goes to the choice of offering a vegetarian restaurant. For us, being vegetarians, it was an important aspect and we found the meals to be really very good and well-prepared.
Precisely because we liked the place so much and would like to return, I would like to leave a few small suggestions, absolutely from a constructive perspective. For those staying several days, the vegetarian menus could be a bit more varied: the dishes were excellent, but sometimes quite similar to each other. It would be nice, for example, to make better use of legumes and plant-based proteins, creating proposals that are always different.
The breakfast is also fantastic and very rich, but for those who, like me, cannot consume dairy products, it would be an added value to find some plant-based protein alternatives, such as peanut butter or other nuts or similar.
Finally, considering the cost of the overnight stay, I think it could be useful to also offer the possibility, at least on some evenings, to choose a few à la carte dishes as an alternative to the fixed menu. Not always, especially after a day out and about, do you feel like having an appetizer, a first course, and a second course: being able to choose one course or a simpler solution would also allow for keeping expenses down a bit.
These are details, because overall we found a truly special place. Precisely for this reason I feel like leaving these suggestions: because it is a place I would gladly return to and that I would like to see grow even more. ✨

A fantastic stay in this magical place.
The staff is exquisite, always attentive and kind.
The rooms are very clean. The animals are free and in contact with us. The experience was magical.

I would go back another 1000 times!!!!
My family and I will always carry in our hearts the magic of the 3 days we just spent in this magical place. It is not so much the beauty of the place (an ancient structure that has been excellently renovated and maintained) as it is the wonder of the experiences, the kindness of the people who work there, and the love for nature and animals that you can feel, which engages anyone who passes through the village. Our 6-year-old son played without fear with all the animals present, bottle-fed a fallow deer fawn, and swam in the pool while a coming and going of donkeys, alpacas, goats, and horses wandered around him. He approached wild boars and fed them apples picked from the tree with eyes full of wonder. This is the true luxury we were looking for and that every child, but also every adult, should have the chance to experience sooner or later. Very kind staff, excellent cuisine with a vegetarian menu, and beautiful, very clean rooms. I could go on…we will definitely be back!!!!!

Disappointed!
I was deeply disappointed by this experience.
The first thing that struck me was the condition of the animals. During the visit some were kept on a leash, the dogs appeared very dirty and poorly trained and, after learning that one of them had attacked a donkey that same morning, we found them wearing muzzles. It was a situation that left me with a strong sense of discomfort.
The facility also appeared poorly maintained. In the spa, the sauna door was visibly broken and the hot tub had cloudy water, so much so that it was unusable.
Considering the price requested for the rooms, I believe that the price-quality ratio is absolutely inadequate. I expected much more.
