Cozy and enjoyable experience

Very welcoming family-run hotel with excellent location for those who want to enjoy Tarquinia and its seafront, practically 2 Min from the hotel. Excellent quality cuisine, all homemade. I recommend it!

Bad bad.

We stayed at this hotel in August...
Absolutely negative experience
Dilapidated old rooms
Air conditioning with a deafening noise
The air conditioner fins weren't working... we had to put a crutch on them to keep them open
There’s a balcony but it was better that there wasn’t
View on a roof all dirty with pigeon cow
Never mind the bathroom... a disaster
It included breakfast... too bad there was nothing... if you were lucky maybe a croissant... coffee to shudder... we had to go for breakfast in other bars on the seafront...
Only positive note the pool
For the rest if you are looking for a minimum of quality forget it

To forget

Bad restaurant.. high prices that do not correspond to the quantity and quality of food... frozen food... served in a short time.... dirty bathrooms, full of hair in the sink... ignorant owner... highly recommended!!!!!!!

È veramente avvilente avere clienti che si nascondono dietro la tastiera....ma purtroppo il nostro tempo è questo..mi rammarico del poco sapere dei clienti come lei che evidentemente hanno sempre mangiato surgelato...lo zucchero non è per i.....

Fantastic place hotel velcamare tarquinia

Beautiful place, excellent service and refined cuisine. The rooms have all the needs that a person has. Spotless pool. Delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner. Perfect relaxation. Friendly and very competent staff

Very quiet family run hotel. Not a chain, delightful owners.

Note this is in Lido de Tarquinia, which is a ghost town out of season, and not Tarquinia itself. We went for a family wedding because it was in the same town as the reception, and we were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel. The staff speak little English, but why should they? However with my phrasebook Italian they could not have been more obliging.
The whole hotel was immaculately clean, the rooms all have a kingsize bed(extremely comfortable) and a single bed and are of a good size, but not very soundproofed. The wifi is free and reliable. The only quibble about the rooms is that the shower cubicle itself is very small so moving around wasn't too easy and my heavier parents worried about the creaking plastic shower tray.The balconies have an open aspect but no sea view etc. The restaurant is closed in November, which makes the dining options limited to a couple of takeaways or the only restaurant that appeared open in the town. However as it is family run, the very comfortable bar and open plan dining/living area and terrace were open to us at all times, and the bar was extremely well stocked and reasonably priced. Breakfast was at our convenience and excellent continental with fantastic coffee/croissants/yoghurt and cakes. We would be delighted to visit again to use it as a base for exploring the area.
