Wunderschöner Urlaub!
It is a very nice, very quiet, surrounded by nature place! Its close to Venice and perfect location to enjoy other cities, towns that are around them. Excellent service, nice People! The Room is clean and comfortable. We will come another time for sure! Thanks to be your guest!

Cosy house, great host
Great place to stay to enjoy the quiet surroundings of Nogarolo, Tarzo and easy access to cities like Treviso and Venice and also the beautiful Dolomiti / Pre Alpini are nearby. The appartment is very clean, well accommodated. The tiny kitchen is just big enough to host three people.
Gabrielle is a fantastic host, who gave lots of interesting information on where to go, where to eat etc. Even when our car got broken, he was helping us to get it fixed by a nearby garage.
We have had a very pleasant stay for one week and really enjoyed staying at La Nicchia.

Alice's house - Far too small for a family
We rented Alice's house during August. The room, which is what it is, measures approx 16'x 12' with an adjoining shower room and closet. It is advertised as being able to accommodate up to four people. We have two boys aged 15 and 6 years and it was way too small for us. There is a double bed with a fold down double bed but the table and chairs have to be moved into the kitchen corner to put the fold down bed together. While we were there it was very hot and we all sweltered in the room in spite of having a stand up fan. The 'house' is on the owners property, as is the other house so we felt as though we should go out every day rather than chilling out some of the time. The other house joins the owners house and there is a very small communal area to share - not very private. We were not told about the washing machine being available until the Thursday afternoon (we arrived on Sunday night) and I found out by asking the occupants of the other house. The kitchen area is well equipped and Gabrielle provided some essentials for us to start off with which is a nice touch.
The village is very quiet with very little to do for children. However, the area is very beautiful and close to the Dolomites. We spent some days at the lake a few miles along the motorway.
All in all I would definitely discourage anyone considering taking a family to Alice's house. I think it would be ideal for a couple who just want to use it as a base to see the amazing surrounding area.

Great house in nice location!
This is a really nice, clean, well furnished house, situated in the charming village of Nogarolo which is about 1 hour’s drive from Marco Polo. The ground floor has a fairly well equipped kitchen with a dining table, next to it there is the bathroom with a WC & shower. On the 1st floor there is a good sized double bedroom and on the 2nd floor there is a large bedroom with a double and 2 single beds. The garden is a very pleasant area to sit and have a drink or a coffee in, although it does seem a little smaller than it looked on the website.
Gabriele the owner is a great host and he made us feel very welcome from the minute we arrived. He was very knowledgeable & helpful, giving us lots of tips & suggestions on places to shop/eat/visit etc.
There is a very decent bar/restaurant in the village “Locanda il Codirosso” which is less than 5 minutes walk from the house and there’s also a really nice place with good food and service a few minutes drive away in Tarzo called “Ai Pini”. We also visited the restaurant at Zoppe di Cadore, which was one of Gabriele’s suggestions, he even called them to reserve a table for us for lunch. Wow, great food in a beautiful location and worth the 1.5 hours drive.
We stayed for a week and ended up having a wonderful holiday and we would love to return here.

Great house, location and host
The accommodation is wonderfully set up with lots of thoughtful features both highlighting the charm of the buildings and offering a comfortable and relaxing stay to groups of all kinds. The accommodation is located in a charming valley with brilliant links to all sorts of holiday activities. We cannot wait to be back again.
