With some improvements it would be from maximum score

The property is located in a quiet street, is modern and well maintained. My room had recent fixtures and flooring and a nice terrace. The bathroom instead seemed more dated, it was windowless and with a shower a bit narrow.
As a good Italian I consider the breakfast offer very important. Here unfortunately I found some aspects below my standards. Hot drinks were dispensed from a vending machine and I didn't like the ones I tried. The hotel has a bar but I guess asking for a cappuccino would have been an extra cost. Unfortunately there were no homemade cakes, which in my opinion add variety and quality to the breakfast. I appreciated the quality of the croissants, bread and fruit jams.
With some improvements, even just in breakfast, the hotel would be top score.

The staff were very nice. Liked the breakfast. The room was simple but cannot complain for the price. Tge parking was super small, so you have to watch out not to hit the corners. We walked down to Torbole central area for dinner.

Pleasant affordable place to stay

We just spent a week in Torbole and for reasons of limited budget and last minute booking, we stayed at Villa al Vento. It is a small -- 14 rooms, I think -- modestly furnished, family run hotel (garni) -- that is about a ten minute walk from the lakefront. At the rear of the hotel is a hedge enclosed lawn area with ample shade trees, lounge chairs and a pingpong table. My favorite part of the stay was the breakfast. Available each morning from 7:30 to 10, it is served in a homey, pleasantly sunlit dining area with large windows. Served buffet style, the choices range from cereal and yogurt to cold cuts and cheeses, pastries and home-cooked cakes, and -- my choice -- do-it-yourself, softboiled eggs and toast. Juices and fresh coffee -- Italian and Americano -- are also served. Our room was very basic, no luxury, and the shower is one of the smallest I've seen, but the room was very clean and full maid service is offered daily. The owners and management are friendly and helpful. We had our dog with us and she was welcome in all areas of the hotel. Torbole is a lively and fun town during the summer season, the lakefront beaches are ample and charming and the vistas of the water and surrounding mountains are spectacular.
