A large and important city like Turin does not deserve such indecency.

There is an abyssal gap between the advertisements and reality. The Boston Art Hotel in Turin on Massena Street presents itself on the market as a "trendy" choice for tourists, boasting special services and an ideal location to reach the city center. In reality, the experience is that of a stay in a dilapidated establishment (far from the standards of Turin and even more so for a 4-star hotel), whose management operates on the edge of contractual non-fulfillment and unfair commercial practices. And the proximity to seafood restaurants or government buildings in the area, in front of a dormitory that fails even the hospitality requirements, loses any value.
The official channels promise rooms equipped with air conditioning, comfort, and Wi-Fi. Customers instead encounter indecency, degradation, and negligence. The absence of basic services is characteristic of numerous rooms where there is no air conditioning, stools are used instead of nightstands, and the lack of a shower mat poses a real risk.
There are also hygiene issues due to dirty, dusty environments and walls full of stains and splashes. The establishment, which appears surprisingly good in the lobby, has doors along the stairs that show cracks and corrosion holes.
The promotion boasts a reception that is active 24 hours a day and a concierge service ready to pamper the guest. In reality, the staff has proven to be grumpy (especially the male and bearded staff), biased, at times hostile, and completely incapable of handling complaints.
In particular, in room 313, the door frame is poorly patched with a nail gun. The lock patch is crudely blocked from the inside, making it impossible to lock oneself in. In response to the legitimate request for a room change due to privacy and security reasons, the reception dismissed the guests by stating that "all the doors are like that" (which, as shown by the cleaning staff working nearby, is absolutely false). Even in light of this evidence, the reception, engaging in pathetic ghostlighting, refused any alternative solution.
Moreover, the illegal data handling is surprising: in addition to unjustifiably delaying check-in by an hour, the staff photocopied the identification documents without appeal (going beyond the legal obligations for transcription to the police), and forced the customers to rightfully demand the return of the photocopies of their sensitive data, including photos.
As if all this were not enough, breakfast, described as a pleasant moment in the hotel, is instead only provided inside a separate building; the night’s rest, labeled as "special" in the advertising, is systematically destroyed by continuous noise from slamming doors at all hours of the night and day, the complete absence of soundproofing, and noisy elevators and outdated facilities.
If you are looking for a hotel that is at least decent, then the Boston Art Hotel in Turin on Via Massena is not for you.

An experience to forget

A nightmare hotel, "Hotel" not a hotel, the air conditioning was completely nonexistent, two nights spent awake.
In response to our complaint email, sent after check-in and after noticing the conditions of the room, we simply received an email informing us that the air conditioning was not working; unfortunately, their email arrived after we had already paid for our stay in advance.
On the fourth floor, where we stayed, there were ongoing construction works, the room was full of dust and very dirty, the workers, despite us passing through the hallway, continued to hammer and cut metal with a grinder, sparks everywhere.
Hot water? Utopia, barely lukewarm and without pressure.
Trust me, stay away from this hotel,
Poor girls at the reception were our lightning rod for complaints, polite and courteous, but unfortunately, they could do nothing; the management was nonexistent.

Terrible

We arrived with high expectations after seeing the beautiful photos on the website and various platforms: the property promised a lot, with a well-kept and welcoming appearance. Unfortunately, the reality was quite different.
From the check-in, we noticed several problems: the air conditioning system was not functioning properly (in some rooms it was practically absent or insufficient), there were debris and signs of neglect on the stairs. Some rooms had no running water, while others strongly smelled of smoke even though we were in "non-smoking" rooms. The rooms, in general, were dirty, bare, and poorly maintained: in several, the outlet covers were even missing, and many outlets did not work.
In short, a disappointment on multiple levels. For the price paid, we expected a minimum of maintenance and cleanliness; instead, we found many small (and large) issues that ruined our stay.
Not recommended if you are looking for a reliable and comfortable place. Better to look elsewhere.

Lobby great, rooms and the rest not so great. Avoid the spacious areas

Lobby great, rooms and the rest not so great. Super dirty rooms, bad mattress, extremely outdated. Every youth hostel is cleaner and better maintained. Everything makes some kind of noise, smoke detector with motion sensor that gives off a constant flashlight. The hotel is a lousy construction site, and the breakfast is barely tolerable. But the main thing is (cheapest) art. Avoid! Spacious!

To be avoided like the plague

Terrible experience. The staff is absolutely kind and helpful, to whom I cannot say anything negative. But the hotel is embarrassing. It looks nice on the ground floor, but do not go up to the 5th floor where I was placed because it is a disaster. I changed rooms three times in two nights and not one was acceptable. In the first room, the air conditioning did not work and only made noise. In the second room next to the first, the air conditioning was quiet, but it did not provide any airflow, and you are in the attic in Turin on days when it reaches 37 degrees.. the third room had airflow, but made noise like the first. On the fourth request for a room change, they told me they had no more available. The rooms are all in disrepair. Broken bedside lamps hanging, rusty fixtures and showers, holes in the walls, tape on electrical wires, door handles disassembled from the outside with batteries visible for the magnetic card function that does not exist (instead, you have a 5kg keychain) and finally, breakfast must be taken outside the hotel in a large room with a poor variety of products; on the first day, there weren't even any croissants. Here too, the staff is super helpful, but the ownership should be ashamed.
