House with beautiful lake view
The house has four stars. This classification is probably based on the possibility to use the facilities of the Hotel Seegarten. Taken on its own, it is more of a good three-star house.
The Hotel Seeberg has friendly staff, offers a good breakfast buffet and clean rooms with large bathrooms. Our room had a small balcony. Sauna and gym are very small. In the garden is a pool. However, the lawn around it is full of mosquitoes, which is why the room is also advised to keep windows closed. The decor of the house is well maintained but old. All in all, the Price quality ratio - at least in season - is not reasonable. A significantly lower price per night would be more realistic.

Relaxing holidays in a family hotel
The two ladies at the hotel were very accommodating and gave us good excursion tips. They were very friendly and through them we felt welcome and comfortable at the hotel.
The sauna is very small but also very nice. Breakfast is very extensive and fine! The view from the window to the lake was beautiful and the short distance down the mountain to the village is easily done on foot. There was free parking right in front of the hotel. We each enjoyed dinner at the Hotel am See and then made the short walk back to the hotel.

Quiet hotel with great views
The Seeberg is located on a hill with a fantastic view of Lake Kaltern, which can be reached on foot in about 10 minutes. Kaltern village is about an hour away on foot, but there is also a bus. Wineries, wine taverns and restaurants/bars are all within walking distance; we didn't need our car for the entire stay. There are plenty of parking spaces.
In the associated partner hotel Seegarten you get free access to the lido, and half board can also be booked here (although we didn't do that). Massages can also be booked in the partner hotel.
The modern rooms are very large, have air conditioning, armchairs, sofas and tables, and a balcony with a view. Everything is super clean and well maintained! There is a sauna in the house, as well as 3 endurance fitness machines and a seasonal outdoor pool with plenty of loungers and shaded areas.
During the day you can buy various cold/warm, non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks at fair prices.
The breakfast offers everything your heart desires, several types of sausage, cheese, bread, rolls, fruit, cakes, sweet treats, various cereal ingredients and various juices and much more. If you complain here (as in some reviews), you will probably never be able to please them in life either, it is not understandable where the bad reviews come from, or what else the reviewers stuff into themselves for breakfast.
What we really liked was the size of the hotel, it was family-run and quiet. But what contributes most to the feeling of well-being is the good soul of the house: Erna. We have never met such a warm and friendly person in a hotel, who reads your every wish from your eyes, is always cheerful, always helpful and always has a good tip for food, drink and excursions. That is what really makes the Seeberg special, thank you very much Erna for your hospitality!

Just good!
I booked the hotel, not knowing what to expect. Also looked at the Hotel Seegarten, which is linked to hotel Seeberg, but the difference in room rate made me decide to go to Seeberg. And I was so happy that this was the best choice. Hotel Seeberg is this little hidden secret close to the mountains and just off the main road. And what makes the hotel special is not only the excellent spacious rooms, but the personal attention and hospitality. One person in particular called Erna, makes your stay in the hotel unforgettable. She is attentive, takes care of you and most of all ensures that all the things in the hotel runs smoothly.
We stayed in room 33. Wow this room is great. The view is fabulous, and the room is excellent, spacious and with a great balcony to unwind with a glass of wine and to enjoy the scenery.
Breakfast is more than I expected. The only thing is that they do not have any fried eggs. Simply because they are garni.
Swimming pool area is great. Private area and a good seize pool to exercise.
As said the hotel is linked to Hotel Seegarten. We booked our stay including dinner. And the dinner is at Hotel Seegarten. Just a short walk or drive. The food at the hotel is good and the price is reasonable. 30 euro for a dinner, which is a good deal. However..... the unfortunate thing is that as a guest from Hotel Seeberg you are literally treated by the management from Seegarten as a second level guest. One lady running the show in the restaurant from the hotel should either retire or attend a training on hospitality. Unbelievable. I had a heated discussion with the lady. And from what I observed in the restaurant is that the waiters, who by the way are great, simply do not respect her. The way she speaks to the staff is like talking to slaves. Yes it is busy in high season, but at least give people and staff the feeling that it is a great experience to come for dinner.
Conclusion: we had a great time at hotel Seeberg, but would have enjoyed the dinner more if only the management at the restaurant would treat guest from Seeberg as equally important as their own guest.

maleducazione e furbizia
Nonostante avessi avuto la conferma di cancellazione gratuita da parte di booking hanno tentato per tre volte, scalando l'importo, di addebitarmi 360 euro sulla carta di credito. Contattati per chiedere chiarimenti in merito, receptionist estremamente scortese e maleducata che insisteva nel chiedere importo.
Mai successo in 30 anni che viaggio...sempre trovato flessibilità e comprensione...specialmente in virtù del fatto che mancavano diversi gg all'arrivo...hanno perso un cliente e fatto una pessima figura!!!
