Lovely hotel but make sure you get your codes first!

Perfect for what we needed it for, close location to the bus stop (5 minute walk), clean and comfortable (also recently renovated and looks very refreshed and clean) and near a lot of local and very tasty places to eat! You can also leave your bags in reception before you check in and for the day after you check out which is self check out
However!!!! some things to note!
There’s been a recent change in ownership and now there’s only a receptionist for a few hours a day and you cannot enter the front door without the entrance code which should be sent to you likely via WhatsApp before your visit, in my case booking through On The Beach, I didn’t know this and it was only due to a another friendly guest letting me in the front door I was able to get in as there was no one on reception (about 12 midday on a Sunday).
We hadn’t received a code and when we did see the lady to check in, she advised she didn’t have our contact details as Expedia hadn’t passed these on so were left a bit stranded though she then quickly sorted this. Julia was very helpful and friendly and directed us to some fab local placed, one of which was the Km0 Venezia Osteria which we ate at twice and was 4 minutes walk from the hotel
All in all a lovely, clean place to stay once we had our codes for the room and doors and was the perfect place to explore the quieter side of Venice and about a 25-30 minute walk to St Marks Square. Lovely shower facilities and very comfy beds, would definitely visit again!

Nice place to stay when travelling on a budget. Bed was comfortable and the staff was very helpful. There was no breakfast served, but the hotel offered a possibility to microwave your own food, which was nice! The location was also pretty good, as everything is in walkable distance, but the area itself is not too crowded.
The hotel had a working air conditioning unit, which cooled the room down effectively. However, it was a bit of a hassle to get it to work, as its controlled from the wall (and somewhat automated), instead of a remote controller as usually. Also, bathrooms could have few more hooks for towels and an additional table/shelf for toiletries.
Overall a good experience and can recommend it! :)

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Falier. My room was bright and airy, spacious, the bathroom was a good size. I loved my little window which I could open and listen to the church bells and the birds singing. The hotel was excellently situated away from the hustle and bustle of the town centre, but within easy walking distance of all the sights plus the train station. Plenty of great restaurants and shops nearby too, and right next to a canal. I would absolutely stay here again. I felt very safe as a solo traveller. It was a beautiful, peaceful little haven.

Great little hotel loved location. Close to train station. Lots of shops ,cafes and restaurants close by.
Check in was smooth very friendly staff. The room was nice. Everything was clean.

Great location and rooms were renovated and are very modern. Good value for money. Less than 15 minutes walk from train station, bus station or parking lot if arriving by car. It’s also a rather quiet area. We would definitely stay here again.
