Good value for money for visiting the Cinque Terre

Lovely and friendly place with spacious, clean rooms and a nice breakfast on the jasmine terrace. Excellent value for money in the area. We loved our stay here and will definitely be back. Thank you!

Beware: the studio apartment has SHARED bathroom. Zero privacy. No refunds

Unfortunately, the initial description for some of the accommodation is NOT made clear. If you are thinking of booking these place; TAKE good care to read everything. A studio apartment in Italy - always includes a private bathroom. This has a shared bathroom - no privacy. The description does eventually mention this, but too late for me. I only noticed after reading there WhatsApp confirmation.
Unfortunately, the property DOES NOT offer a refund - even though cancelled within 20 mins of booking. Sharp practice for sure - they did “suggest” consideration “might” be given to a 50% refund - but strangely the WhatsApp messages stopped
I’m sure it’s a good place, but the impression, understanding showed little respect for tourists making an honest error

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry for any confusion. Unfortunately, the description on Booking. com is automated, and we’ve asked to change it manually, but it’s not possible. You made the reservation and then asked to cancel it later, which unfortunately made it impossible for us to process a refund. Typically, there is a cancellation window within the first hour that can be done automatically on Booking. com, and we encourage guests to review the room details beforehand.We do have both rooms ith private bathrooms and shared so guests have a choice and different price point . Our shared bathrooms are modern and cleaned throughout the day. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

positive experience

we stayed at the B & B la Pergola in a triple room with private bathroom. everything was spotless and tidy, good breakfast both sweet and savory that you can do on the small terrace overlooking the mountains. very quiet place and easily accessible by car, with free private parking. also well connected with the station of La Spezia by bus (stop a few steps from the B & B). very kind and helpful staff. in summary, excellent value for money, we would stay again.

Long weekend of April 25th with the family!

We stayed at La Pergola from 25 to 28 April 2024. Two adults and two children, triple room (room no. 1 with private bathroom) with the possibility of adding an extra bed. Room with simple but clean furnishings, with private balcony. Small bathroom, uncomfortable sink, well-maintained shower but without hand shower. (Since there is no bidet it would be useful to add a hand shower in the shower).
Excellent location to reach La Spezia and the 5 Terre Park.
Friendly staff, very good and varied breakfast. Available in the common room: fridge, kettle and coffee machine.

clean and comfortable

Had a lovely room with private TV WIFI and bathroom ,very cozy !
Good location for the cinque terre and obviously a lot cheaper would definitely stay again
Good local supermarket and traditional restaurants
