A dream
The Castle of Viano is a magical place! Every corner, beautifully preserved and recovered, brings back its ancient history.
The products are local and the food is great. The elegant suites with spectacular views.
The rooms, lounges, terrace and gardens are well-kept and very suggestive.
Staying or simply dining in such a place is a privilege.
We recommend everyone a visit and, if possible, more than one.

Would not recommend it!!!!
The location is undoubtedly very beautiful and suggestive, ideal for a family lunch.
As for lunch, we found the first and second courses very good, except the tagliata di fassona. Good desserts but portions in general scarce.
Unfortunately the experience was penalized by a slow and poor service and a waitress with ungracious manners.
We found problems with the appetizers; we had asked for two portions of cold cuts with focaccia but only one arrived consisting mainly of bacon and little of everything else. The second appetizer was 4 slices of bacon without focaccia.
In the end they were required 2 barricaded grappas (nn have other spirits) that charged us 10 euros each. Absurd!!!! At the end of the meal usually liquors are offered.
Expensive place for the service and portions that are offered.

Great gem to slow down
Just not an ultra modern and super functional business resort. But warmest reception and beautiful, rustic rooms in castle style but not without comfort. Very good restaurant, with reasonable pricing. We will come back.

Sunday lunch
The Castle is located in a beautiful position in the Reggio hills. Very nice structure, nice, impressive.
The structure has a maximum of 50 seats, so each table is well spaced from the others and at most each room of the castle houses three tables. Appropriate equipment. Good cuisine, with quality products, beautiful presentation of dishes. Service not up to the job, because between one course and another too much time has elapsed, the table has been set with dishes for too long, giving the impression of carelessness or lack of staff. Appearance improveable.
Overall however good driving.
Menu with a first course, second course of meat, dessert and wine about 80 euros each.
