We couldnt reccomend this place enough, and in fact, looking at booking another stay next year.
The room is clean and provides everything you need and the air conditioning is welcomed to break from the Italian sun!
Staff are friendly and helpful, the pool bar is a big bonus for days chilling around the pool.
The only one downside we found was the resturant, we went for breakfast one morning and the food wasnt up to scratch. We found a wasp in one of the hot foot containers, we did adress this with the staff and were offered replacement food but we both felt very sick after seeing that and declined and left.
Check in was smooth and easy, we were travelling with a 4 month old baby and it was the perfect mix between a city break but the tranquility of the site to relax in during the hot hours of the day.
If you are looking for a stay with easy transport links into Rome with the option to spend some hours chilling by a pool with the ease of your room being close by, this is the perfect spot.
There is a large supermarket over the road which sells fresh produce so i would suggest to prepare to go over there for food items or to use the pool bar if its open.
Overall a great stay and we cant wait to return.

Rusty nails and wasps

Please refrain from using the grills here. After 36 minutes, only the pork chop was cooked, and we were plagued by wasps the entire time. Additionally, the bungalow had a rusty nail protruding through the floor, the room lacked linen for one of the guests, and essential items such as a drying rack were missing. There are also ants everywhere. To make matters worse, the pool was overcrowded, and the restaurant was heavily overpriced compared to the poor quality of the food. This is entirely unacceptable for the price of 700 euros per week.

Good Location from Rome, ok site

Getting there - you are right off one of the main dual carriageways into Rome in this area, but it does get really busy at times
Arrival - what a nightmare, we arrived at staff change over time, which took them about 15 minutes, but this time there was a substantial line of people. We got our ticket and spent over an hour chatting with an American couple before they got served - total time was around 1.5 hours to get checked in - in 36 degrees heat, so not a great start
Pitch was a good size (7m long moho) and we had plenty of space to spare even after getting the awning out. We were opposite the restaurant when the world cup was on and they had it on the big screen, but fair enough at 11pm the sound went off and by 11.15 the big screen was off EXCEPT when Italy played and the game finished around 11.30, then they turned it off!
Facilities - there are only 1 shower block which is modern and kept clean, but all the pool users use this shower block as well so it can get crowded at times, but there is quite a few in motorhomes, tents and caravans all using this one block
Site - there is a good sized pool with plenty of sun loungers and we never did not get one in the 10 days we were here. A small supermarket, laundry, restaurant and take away
Location - directly opposite the site, via a food bridge is a large supermarket and a western style restaurant, a petrol station and Mcdonalds, anything else is a good treck away. If you are going into Rome then you get your tickets from reception (each time there was hardly anyone booking in, so we must have hit a really bad time) and they lay on a coach which drops you off a 5 minute walk to Vatican city several times on a morning and the last one back is around 7pm
Downside - noise - we complained to reception about an an American group putting someones life in line at 00.30 in the morning, 2 nights later they were putting the political world to right, again gone midnight and nothing was done. Security was hardly ever seen whilst we were there
The site 7 years ago catered mostly for motorhomes and tents, but they have taken over most of the site with static safari tents and mini statics, which means you can get large groups of youths staying here

Expensive, disorganised, close to centre

We stayed at flaminia camping for a night and then stayed here and I wish we had stayed at flaminia bungalow park the whole time! The selling point of this campsite is that it is close to the centre and granted, it’s a bus or a bus and then metro away which overall takes about 45 mins. However, the check in/ check out services are inefficient. There is a ticketing system that they don’t use properly and actually takes longer than if people just queue up. It was also quite expensive compared to flaminia bungalow park. The check in crew are quite dismissive and not particularly friendly. The camp spots are close to the main area which is unfortunate in the evening because there is blaring music at 9pm so not great if you have little ones. Pool is smaller than other sites and we paid 6 euro ( higher than the Hu camping in Florence or flaminia ) for a washing machine where you had no control over the detergent used ( not good for allergies) and we did one wash and the clothes literally had the same dirt on them, it did nothing. We also paid for an electric pitch and they situated us about 3 pitches away from mains box, this would have been fine except the mains plug in was at the front of the pitch so we had to add another 5 m to the cable in order to avoid laying our wires where people drive their cars. We had to give them €60 CASH ONLY for an extension which I usually wouldn’t have minded except we paid already to have electricity provision which we were not appropriatley provided with. Pitches are under these trees that continuously molt, we stayed two days but had to wipe our solar panels before we could leave. Whole thing just seemed very disorganised and not worth the money. If it’s a weigh up between this and flaminia bungalow park, this one has more a sesh/adult theme whereas flaminia has a more family friendly vibe. However one thing I would say is the grounds staff/security guards etc were brilliant, kind, friendly. They really endeared the place to us.

Rooms were clean. Everything was fine but the bathroom walls are very transparent which is not ideal. Also the location is a bit off route.
