Exactly what a great safari should feel like!

We just got back from Manyatta Camp and honestly had such a great time. The staff were incredibly welcoming and kind throughout. Big shout out to William who was particularly wonderful.
The food was consistently delicious, with diverse options, well prepared, nothing to complain about across any of the meals.
The tents are very clean and well maintained. Housekeeping comes daily and everything you need is there. The private plunge pool with an amazing view of the national park is a real treat (saw multiple elephants from the pool!), and having both a ceiling fan and a standing fan made the hot nights much more manageable.
The camp has a really private, quiet feel to it. Between game drives there’s genuine space to rest and decompress, which we appreciated a lot.
Our game drive driver Jackan was excellent. He knew the park very well, took different routes each time, and was happy to adapt based on what we wanted to see. His knowledge of the animals and species was impressive. One practical thing worth mentioning: even though the camp sits right on the edge of the park, you only pay the park entry fees on the days you actually go on a game drives, which is a nice and fair setup.
We also felt very safe throughout. The tents are well sealed (no bug issues) and in the evenings a staff member always accompanies guests when walking around the camp.
The only thing that could be better is if the Camp provided drinking water within the accommodation price. Only 1 litre per day was provided in the tent during the housekeeping but during the meals we had to pay separately for drinking water.
Overall, an extremely well-run camp that gets the balance right between comfort and the real safari experience, with amazing staff and amenities. We’d definitely go back!!

A Truly Exceptional Safari Experience!

A great place to stay! The staff were incredibly kind and helpful and took wonderful care of us. They were especially attentive when it came to adapting the food to my dietary requirements. William in particular was absolutely fantastic!
The lodge is quiet and tranquil, the rooms were spotlessly clean and very well protected from bugs and insects which was impressive given that you're staying in tents! The ceiling fans in the rooms were also great. The view from the tents is simply amazing. For the game drives, our driver Jackan was brilliant. He really went out of his way to tailor every drive to exactly what we wanted.

Birthday Week Part 3 - Manyatta Camp

Have popped up to Manyatta Camp on previous visits to Voi Wildlife Lodge but this was our first stay - last surprise for the husbands birthday week having stayed at Man Eaters and then Voi Wildlife earlier in the week and why have I never stayed in the fabulous tents so close to the wildlife before - big mistake and will for sure be staying again hopefully later this year. To be in your own private plunge pool overlooking the National Park and the elephants who during the day and night walk by so close is quite magical, just you and them and of course the electric fence so they or anything else do not get a little too close! The Chef and his Team provided fabulous food, the pool attendant I have known for years was there with fresh towels for both plunge pool and the Manyatta private residence pool, Security Staff was there at night with torch for when the elephants came by and guided you safely at all times even in the dark to see the animals and our Tent was again beautifully decorated, clean and welcoming, another huge Thank You to the Manager and her Team for a wonderful stay and we will for sure be returning but for a longer stay during our next visit - a perfect ending to a memorable very long Birthday Week - thank you
