Great place to stay in Luang Prabang

Was here for most of my trip in LP - Highly recommend it as it is close to all the action + easy to get a motorbike rental.
The owner is really friendly and always willing to help out. Breakfast is good too.
The rooms are quite spacious and they have a bathtub which is extremely underrated in Southeast Asia.
Very cosy and classic Lao-style hotel - everything is wood.
The location is right on the Nam Kham River and you can access the main street of the historical town within a 6 minute walk or 1 minute bike ride.

Very disappointed, the room I was given was by the kitchen/work area and was very nosy. The shutters in the bathroom weren't covered properly so I could see out and most likely you could see in. The really disappointing thing was the beds had insects and bugs.

Brilliant night sleep

We checked in for 1 night and ended up staying for 5. The room was spacious and comfortable, with breakfast served on our private terrace every morning (included in the price).
I had the best night sleep in the hotel, so peaceful (about 8 rooms) and set back slightly from the road, so no noise. Amazing!
We opted for a room with a standalone bath which was great. Well worth the extra money in my opinion.
The hotel was literally a 30 sec walk to the river, a 1 min walk to Wat Xiengthong (in the opposite direction) and the night market was about 10 - 15 mins straight down from the hotel. This is where we did most of our eating.
If visiting I highly recommend Kuang Si waterfall. Pak Ou Caves not worth it in my opinion although the trip along the river is lovely.

A nice hotel a little set off the road. The terraces are thus intimate and it is comfortable to enjoy the breakfast, which is served on your own terrace. The river is on the other side of the main road.
A glass of fresh juice is offered daily, when you return to the hotel from the day's outing.
We reserved trips, bicycles, and a motorcycle from the hotel. The center of the town is some distance away so having wheels saves time and energy when moving around.
Room was spacious and so was the bathroom. Bathtub was roomy and thoroughly enjoyable.
