Clean and basic guesthouse with lovely mountain views. The beds were very firm. Abbay was an excellent host - very responsive to all our questions before and during the trip. He also arranged a fantastic day tour to three jar sites as well as the old capital and the spoon and noodle village I would highly recommend!

Lovely place to stay with a lovely host

We stayed at the Sipanya guest house for two nights. Abay the owner is very kind and welcoming. We arranged an airport pickup with him. It was only a half hour flight over from Vientiane.
The tour options are great and we chose the tour with all three Plain of Jars sites, the old capital, noodle village and spoon village.
The Plain of jars are spectacular and well worth a visit.
The rooms are spacious and had good air con and fans. The bathroom is a good size too.
There is a five mins walk to the Main Street where there are lots of eating options.
Breakfast was delicious at the Sipanya Guest House. We had preordered what we wanted the night before.
Abay really did go over and above for us. He ordered dinner for us and brought it up to our room when we wanted a restful first night.
This is a lovely place to stay and I highly recommend it.

Clean, comfortable, helpful

This hotel was excellent, clean, comfortable, and the staff was outstanding. From the free pickup at the bus stations through helping us enjoy our stay in every way they were above helpful. We arranged our guide to the local sights through them and we were very pleased, reasonably priced with exceptional service. They are centrally located in a very quiet area. Hot showers and enjoyable balcony made a nice end to a day of sightseeing. The town has a nice selection of good restaurants and coffee shops.

Sipanya Guesthouse was the perfect place to stay to explore the Plain of Jars sites and Phonsavan area! It was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. Thank you to the staff who were all so kind and helpful! Also I hope you find homes for all the puppies born last night :)

The hotel and staff were amazing. It’s basic accommodations but everything was perfect. Breakfast came with fresh fruit and delicious crusty bread.
