Great discovery

Very good location: though a bit further from Aquapark and very very centre, it is also more quiet, and you can reach it by taking a nice walk through the river strand. Views from hotel are magnificient.
Hotel provides their own small sauna (rather Turkish) and jacuzzi, but it offers you also a pool with sauna just in the next building (free of charge). So as Aquapark was overcrowded one weekend we went there and it was ok.
Rooms are comfy and all you need.
Breakfast is good, and dinner meals are just superb! Staff is very helpful and hospitable.
We stayed in some hotels in Druskininkai, and we were very happy to discover this one!

Above about impressions - terrible

Standard room 3rd floor - ceiling height on one side is 2 meters, 4 small windows, 60 centimeters tall, do not open. The area of this room is 12 meters, when you move in the radiator does not heat, the ventilation in the bathroom does not work. Behind the wall the neighbors turn on the water - the pipes sing. The room comes with a bathroom - not small, but the decoration was 20 years ago, the seams between the tiles in the bathroom are yellow. All this would be half the trouble if the hotel was managed by a director who was favorable to the guests. It’s not worth contacting - you may accidentally hear a description of yourself. Regarding water treatments, there is a basement with a jacuzzi. There is one old shower cabin and a Turkish bath. It’s not very important to me, but I don’t remember such a meager breakfast anywhere. And so, the hall is beautiful - the director and registrar live there. It's lined with restaurant tables - there's not much room to sit.

Disrespectful staff

So many good reviews and feedbacks brought us to this place. However, when our dinner had some issues due to their payment system, the restaurant staff instead of looking for a best solution for both sides choose to insult and humiliate us as a clients. We were in shock that the restaurant staff feels free to make a comments infront of the clients about their wealth, social status and nationality.
We have never been humiliated like this before in any other place. And the saddest thing, that our human
pride by the hotel management was valued at 40 eur.

Very very Good Hotel

A very good clean and tidy spa hotel. I would recommend to any travellers from England who want a different holiday or just a quick weekend away. Druskininkai is a very beautiful town with the Hotel Violeta neatly perched on the Nemunas river. My advice go take a look, its worth it.

Undiscovered gem.

Gourgeous hotel in a beautiful Riverside setting. Hospitality was second to none, food was excellent. I would recommend this hotel and town to anyone wishing a quiet spa retreat. An undiscovered gem, in a lovely country that would welcome all who visit.
