Home away from home

After getting up in the middle of the night, driving for 5 hours and a long workday, this is just what a person needs. I'm not looking for fancy haute cuisine or a bathroom that reacts to the sound of my voice. Nope, what I need at the end of a day like is to arrive in a place that is welcoming, friendly and accomodating.
I just wanted to relax in my room so I ran to the restaurant downstairs, asked for calzone and some white wine.
"Would you like to take it to your room?"
- Oh god, yes please.
All I wanted was to throw off my shoes and relax in the couch in front of the television. And I could.
Parking is closed and therefore more secure than most. (Parking spaces in Luxemburg are a luxury on their own.)
Staff is friendly and welcoming. No stiff procedures, but let's chat while you wait for your pizza.
Room is clean, warm, cosy... and huge! I could fit my family in here. Speaking of which, if you are not travelling for work, but to enjoy the local wellness or casino, bring your kids and partner... You can easily fit them at the Windsor. And they will enjoy it too.

Disappointing, No Welcoming, very rare parking, it is very rough.

Hotel that seems a sinking boat.
Indeed when you arrive (on time) nobody has the Welcoming.you have to call the Paris hotel located a hundred meters away.
The phone number is not the right one. Someone told us to go and report to the hotel Paris, and receive the keys.
All this we discover upon arrival, no information about it at booking.

A Ruin

The worst hotel ever. On arrival no one present in the reception. Room doors were defective, doors were broken open.Floorboards broke and stood up. Cracks in the furniture. Bed was composed of 2 or 3 broken beds. Toilet seat could not go up. When we arrived the room was full of sigaretsmoke.

Unfriendly and not willing to assist

A reservation got cancelled due to credit card issues. (I was not aware of) the only reaction from the woman at the reception was. "All rooms are taken, goodbye "
My experience seem to fit to the others at this place.

Was ok.

Arrived In Mondorf-les-Bains in the late afternoon and were looking to get a hotel room. The Hotel Windsor was close to the market that was going on so we went in and got a room. The price was ok and the room was bigger than I imagined....a really good size. Was clean too, so it was a nice, average place to stay a night.
