Great experience and near the airport

Everything went smoothly from the airport pick up to drop off. When they had to wait for the driver to arrive at the airport to pick me up they got me a taxi instead to get to the hotel quicker, which was appreciated. The check in was smooth and quick. The room was spacious and spotless with a lovely view over Male. It had everything I needed in the room. Breakfast was basic (it's relative and just based on what I am used to), but more than sufficient to start the day. Mizan at the restaurant was very courteous and provided excellent service along with his colleague at breakfast. The location is perfect and easy to walk to some of the main attractions. I would highly recommend the Beehive Premier. Next time I am in Male I will definitely stay here again.

More than adequate - no complaints, and would stay again.

We stayed twice in the Beehive Premier in the last month - so got a good feel of the hotel. We also ate in the top floor restaurant 4 times - 2 evening drinks/meals and 2 breakfasts.
Obviously a hotel in Male given the space and city location can’t be compared to a resort hotel and shouldn’t - because it can’t keep up, but does provide a useful way of getting to the resort early, leaving the resort late and minimising any worries with delayed flights etc. Male is also worth the visit - albeit a short one. We booked the Beehive Premier via Booking.com and those it due to rating, location, transfers, breakfast and price.
The balcony room that we were give each time was quite small and basic - but functional - the first stay was low down, and it was noisy with the motor bike wash across the road open through to the early hours of the morning. We didn’t really hear it when we stayed on the 8th floor. The bathroom of each room really needs an update, and the soap and shampoo can be improved.
The location is just over the bridge from the airport, and allowed for a quick run over the bridge and back prior to check out. The transfers from to and from the hotel are well organised - though because it’s a shared transfer you can find yourself waiting for other people to turn up. It appears they have a dedicated contact at the airport, and a single van serving the hotels within the Beehive Group. It was good that this was included in the price.
Breakfast covered below.
Price was good - especially with the transfers covered - Male airport is hectic and whilst bus and boat transfers are cheap - they don’t bring you to the hotel door.
The restaurant has a very airy feel 10 stories up with large open windows on two sides. We had some cokes and water on our first visit which was fine, and a really well cooked Chicken Kothu Roshi on our second visit - it had some great flavours and was well presented. The spring rolls weren’t anything to write home about, but the spicy sauce that came with them was good. Breakfast was a standard offering with variety of toast, fruit, egg and cheese omelette, has brown, sausage - it filled a gap - in fact, it was more than we needed, and kept us full for a good while.
Its a stop over hotel, and performed well for that function.

It was literally 5 mins to my client’s office. Very basic amenities, but it’s the cheapest and closest to where I want to be.

Price does not match the quality of services provided

On the plus side: the hotel provides airport transfers, which are included in the room rate. The bathroom has a toothbrush and paste.
We didn't like the room we were put in. It was on the second floor, the front door almost resting on the bed when opened. It was a very small room and it was stuffy. When the window was opened, there was no ventilation, and sleeping with the air conditioner was impossible, as it blew the bed in any mode, respectively the whole body and face. It was also very noisy, the room did not go to the sea view, but to the street Raiyvilla Hingun. There were no slippers, no shampoo, no conditioner and no soap. There is virtually no toilet paper left of the previous guests. When we asked for paper at reception the night we checked in, we were told a roll would be brought in, but nothing came in the evening or morning.
I didn't like breakfast at the hotel. We assumed there would be a buffet, but there was no choice at all. I would like to see Mas Huni as a breakfast - it is a traditional breakfast in Maldives consisting of tuna, onions, coconut and chilli. They actually brought omelets, sausages, bread, butter, hashbrown, fruit and coffee. In this hotel we failed to sleep because of noise and spirit, breakfast also failed, drank only coffee and ate bread and butter. Bottom line, I think $100 a night for this service is expensive.
