We recently stayed at Berjaya Waterfront Hotel, Johor Bahru for 1 day, and it was a wonderful experience for our family. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Mr. Azman, who went out of his way to assist us. Thanks to him, our children enjoyed a complimentary breakfast, which we greatly appreciated.
Mr. Daniel was also very kind and welcoming thank you for the coffee.
Our room was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed, with a stunning sea view. Our whole family had a lot of fun and truly enjoyed the stay.
Overall, it was a memorable visit, and we would definitely return to Berjaya Waterfront Hotel in the future.

Not value for money

Very far from the city center and main attraction lego land. The hotel was blank and silent and yet they said they are full. We could hardly see anyone in the hotel. There is no life guard or staff available at the swimming pool of the property which is a serious security failure for a 4 star hotel. There are no equipments like tubes of floaters for kids. There is no concept of separate pool towels at the swimming pool. Even the gym of the hotel is very small and as basic as a tread mill is not there in gym. Even none of the other equipment like cycling machine and others were working. Again no staff to help or guide in the gym. The hotel is actually misselling itself by putting fancy pictures.

Terrible Stay – Outdated Hotel & Pathetic NZ Spa Experience

My stay at Berjaya Waterfront Hotel was already disappointing due to the outdated facilities and poor maintenance, but the experience at NZ Spa (Level 7) made it significantly worse.
The spa environment felt highly inappropriate and uncomfortable. The atmosphere did not resemble a professional wellness facility. The setup, staff presentation, and overall conduct raised serious concerns and made the experience feel questionable rather than relaxing. It did not feel like a legitimate spa service aligned with a 4-star hotel standard.
Instead of feeling relaxed, I left feeling disturbed and uneasy. This is not what guests expect when booking a hotel of this category. Management should seriously review what is operating under their roof.
I would not return!!!

Romantic Dinner on Valentine's Day

The service was excellent by Alia & Corina. Enjoyed the romantic dinner experience. Happy with the service, will definitely come again.
