The best hotel in Langkawi. The room is fantastic. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
I have been to Langkawi three times, and this is by far the best hotel.

Saw the high rating and decided to change my hotel at the eleventh hour. Location was perfect, but it is definitely only a 2* hotel. Pool was simply an enlarged bath tub. Stairs to room. Shower had extremely low water pressure, which was later adjusted. Breakfast starts at 7.30am but at 7.45am it was still closed. Receptionist said she had no idea what time it will open. I paid about US$80 after 30% discount. Not worth. It is just a mere motel. Rooms were spacious. The only pros about this motel is Aziman, the manager. He has been very helpful and thoughtful. He passed me a towel to use for my activities. I dare not take any towels out of the room because there is a message in the room that states the cost of cleaning the towel is RM80, face towel is RM50 etc. Frankly, for that price, I can buy a few new towels. Besides, upon check in, the duvet covers were not even washed after the previous guests checked out. Hygiene is definitely missing. And the flushing system stinks. Not sure if it applies to all hotels in the area because there is a bad sewage odour even at the toilets in the malls.

Room was good, slightly on the small side but was a basic room. Comfortable beds. The bathroom is a wet room so the water got on the toilet but otherwise fine.
Good pool that is not busy. Quite relaxing.
No lift - we were on second floor with luggage.
Friendly staff and close to the beach and main road with shops.

Room was very clean and the service very helpful, except one waitress at breakfast cafe. She looked angry all the time, she didn’t smile and she was rude ti customers. Breakfast tasted goo evey time (we had six days) but we didn’t feel ourselves welcome there because of this waitress.

Room was spacious and clean. Great proximity to the beach. The staff was helpful and all excursions easily booked at the hotel. The breakfast was good as well! Good value.
