You can't miss Avani Hotel.
This restaurant is great! All the staff are lovely. I loved it and want to come again.

Reasonable value for what you get, but a little out of the way.
LOCATION. Resorts World is at the extreme south of the Pantai Chenang area, at the end of a long private road/ driveway. So don’t expect to walk to any shops or restaurants.
Grab cars and taxis do exist in Langkawi, but don’t EXPECT to be able to get one as they are as rare as hen’s teeth. And there are very few Grab food delivery drivers to be seen. You’ll either need to hire a car, arrange pickup for tours or ask the hotel about its shuttle bus. We hired a car, which also gave us greater options regarding exploring the island, eating out etc.
THE HOTEL. The hotel itself is quite old and is in need of refurbishment. The rooms are comfortable, but ours was ‘tired’. If you have a sea view room, the view is spectacular.
We stayed for 4 nights. Hotel policy is to service the rooms every 4 days unless requested, with self-use refill stations for the two 1 litre glass drinking water bottles provided (not unusual). That is, unless you ask, you get 1 roll of toilet paper and 1 set of tea/ coffee and one pair of towels for 2 people for up to 4 days (unless you contact house-keeping. Repeatedly).
Our room had a tiled entryway with separate shower and toilet rooms, and the glazed tiles were slippery when wet.
Breakfast is reasonable cost at RM40 each, but the buffet food selection is ‘barely adequate’, with a handful of choices for each of Western, Asian and Indian guests. Diabetics, bring your own non-sugar sweetener (as is usual in Malaysia).
There doesn’t appear to be a convenience store or vending machines in the hotel. Given the heat and humidity (we were there at the end of December) you will need to buy outside a number of water bottles to take with you when going out (and refill on your return) - most tours do not provide drinks. When we did the 5 hour mangrove tour my wife and myself both each drank about 1.5 litres of water and were still nearly dehydrated.
I can’t comment on the two on-site restaurants, as we dined out, other than breakfasts. We also didn't use the pool and other facilities, so I can't comment on those.
Service by staff is quite prompt and cheerful.
OVERALL. 4 Star accommodation and service – just. Reasonable value, but a little out of the way unless you hire a car (free car parking).

Third class hotel
I am extremely disappointed with the experience. My booking at your resort was for.
Unfortunately, my Indigo flight to Langkawi was permanently cancelled due to operational issues, and there were no alternate Indigo flights on any other dates. I immediately informed you 1 month in advance and requested to either cancel the booking or move the dates.
I understand this was a non-refundable booking, but the cancellation was due to circumstances beyond my control. Despite multiple calls and emails, I was not offered any assistance to reschedule or adjust the booking.
I never expected this level of service from a group like Resort World. As there is no way to reach Langkawi without flights, I had to take an alternative flight to Penang instead.
I request you to reconsider and either cancel the booking or allow me to reschedule the dates. I hope a brand of your stature will show some flexibility and empathy.

Just fair.
A hotel that presents well from the outside.However the rooms are far from the reception.I was at room 4209 it takes well over 5 minutes with luggage it is very complicated... The rooms are getting dilapidated, and my shower was clogged and without hot water... I think there are nicer hotels on Langkawi

A place by the beach
The location and view from resorts world Lankawi is breathtaking. The place has some good places to dine and relax. Looking forward to coming back here
