One of our two rooms was very noisy, as its window was literally right next to the road. The noise from the motorcycles was horrible, especially at night.
The toilet in that room also had no running water for quite a while. The electricity was also cut off at around 9 a.m. for no apparent reason.
It was quite frustrating not being able to flush the toilet. Luckily, our friends’ room was fine, and we were leaving at 9:30 a.m. for our flight anyway.
The studio itself was very nice and well-equipped with all the necessary household appliances. It was also only a 12–15 minute walk to the airport. As long as you get the right room, it can be the perfect choice for a night before your flight.
Finally, a big thank you to the customer service staff and the cleaning staff, who were all very friendly and helpful. They also kindly helped us with an early check-in, which we really appreciated.

Change made to original booking from apt hotel with pool and breakfast to apt block, no reception, no breakfast, and change made after free cancellation timescale had past.. re booked to another hotel without turning up.This was booked again through hotels.Com if you wish to check
The AX hotel and spar in Qawra. 9th to 30 th June.

The location sent a physical address and picture of the front of the place…neither were helpful-after wandering up and down hills and alleyways with over hundred pounds of luggage-I never found it. Reached out to them-no answer-no response at all from them until nineteen hours later!!
Found another place to stay-now they won’t refund because the agent I talked to misspoke and said I had a flight delay and that was my reason for cancellation! It clearly was not since I was wandering for over an hour.
I’m sure they’ll come on here and “explain” this was all my fault…but I’ve got all the documentation to prove I tried my best to contact them in the way I was instructed to, they failed. And if the excuse is they manage many properties on the island-get more help!

It is a great location but there were no blackout curtains and we were street facing (room was very bright), we also only had one chipped bowl and one plate to eat with. The space was reasonably clean, and the shower had amazing pressure.
