Hidden Gem is the perfect name, great relaxing visit great hotel

We had been looking for somewhere to stay in or around Rabat as we had family nearby and we could not have chosen a better hotel it was perfect for our needs 5 min walk to family.
Patrick the owner is an excellent host he has a hotel that is in a style of the Maltese home it is quiet, in a very good location on minutes from every thing you would need shops, cafes restaurant's even a church, Thanks to patick and his staff, the Hidden Gem was exceptionally clean, the rooms are a good size access to a small roof terrace was easy as there are stairs and a lift.
Fantastic views from the roof across malta if you want a nice cosy hotel then you won’t go wrong on staying here.
Oh and if you have any sort of disability there is a great room on the ground floor
nearest coffe shop turn left on to the main road left hand corner 2 min
walk dow most side streets and you will come to a Reastuarant or bar serving traditional matlese food.

Fabulous

A gorgeous little place to stay, you wouldn’t know it existed but my word you need to stay there. It is wonderful…a secret hideout, best room is Diamond on the top floor with a terrace.

A lovely little hideaway in Rabat...

Hard to believe this is the first review for this wonderful guesthouse! We entered down a quiet path and were greeted by Patrick the owner, who welcomed us warmly. After lots of top tips about the area we were shown to a lovely twin room - Jewel. Every room is named after a precious stone! The room and bathroom were lovely and clean and there was a balcony, but with high walls. The only surprising feature of the room was having to pay 2 euros for a bottle of water - I would have expected at least 1 free per person. The architecture of the building was beautiful, and there was a lovely sun deck with views over the town from the roof. There was no breakfast service in the morning, but lots of cafes nearby so not a problem.
