Exceptional hotel, I wish we’d stayed longer
Absolutely exceptional place. We only stayed for one night, which is probably the only negative I can find because I genuinely wish we had stayed longer.
From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, attentive and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble, and the level of service really stood out.
The room was incredible. Beautifully designed, immaculate and so well kept, with everything you could possibly need.
The hotel itself had everything you could want for a relaxing getaway, from the restaurant and spa to the beautiful rooms and overall atmosphere.
I would genuinely go back to Malta just to stay here again. If I ever want a weekend away where I can simply relax, switch off and enjoy a beautiful hotel, this would be my first choice.

Not really 5 star hotel
This is supposed to be a 5 star hotel but while, on the surface, it has all the bells and whistles, sadly it is let down by a number of things.
We opted for the room with a plunge pool. Absolutely Not worth it. Would much have preferred just a balcony with a table and chairs. You have to request for it to be heated, that’s ok, but you are totally overlooked. The tiled sides are very sharp and it was missing covers over the drains. Also there is one hanging rail which is not full length so nowhere to hang dresses etc. There is a table and chair but no mirror so you cannot sit to do your hair and makeup. The plug sockets have c sockets but not all of them work. The tv kept losing all channels. We asked for it to be fixed which they did but the next night it went off again
The mini bar was not restocked daily and used glasses were left on the side for 3 days and not removed.
Lastly the bar downstairs is not really a bar area, go to the other hotel across the road for some great cocktails . Also the champagne breakfast in the other hotel on the 11th floor is fantastic. Overall we kind of wish we were in the other hotel even though this was supposed to be the better one

The hotel was beautiful, the staff were exceptional. The choice of restaurants was great and reasonably priced. The pool was ideal, could have done with some background music. The beach club pool was good with a stunning view but a little busier as open to the public too, although private areas for hotel guests. Outside pool room, wasn’t at all private, you were overlooked by the hotel opposite. Bed and pillows were super comfy, spa was amazing we did the 4 pools and was that relaxed afterwards ended up ordering room service. One thing we would have liked is something sweet on the room service menu. Breakfast was in the hotel opposite and was incredible, silver service with a view. They even brought a small table to place my bad on rather than it being on the floor. Location of hotel was about a 5-10 minute walk from the harbour front where we caught the ferry to Valletta. Would recommend this hotel to family and friends especially if you’re celebrating something special.

Gem of a hotel !! Loved everything about it !
This hotel is in a great location in Sliema. We cannot rate it highly enough. The four of us went as a family and from the minute you walked through the door nothing is too much trouble. I will not name individual staff as every single person working in that hotel is amazing . Friendly kind attentive and will always stop and have a chat with you. Breakfast is across the road in the Soleil and again the service there is wonderful. The food choices are more than enough with a selection of eggs , fruit, pastries, toast and a varied menu. The menu gets explained to you really well by the staff in there who are absolutely and welcoming. We had a room with a plunge pool. Our daughter’s had one with the sauna we loved using the plunge pool. We also went to the rooftop pool which is nice if you want a quieter scene, however we went to the beach club 1926 over the road also which is part of the Hotel. They have more than enough a gorgeous Pool, great music and a wonderful restaurant if you choose to eat there. It never felt crowded and there were always enough beds as well as adequate shade. Outside the hotel is an endless choice of restaurants and bars or within walking distance either side of the Hotel. This location is also perfect for accessing all the sights of Malta. We did things like a boat trip and also getting in the ferry to Valletta. Mdina is also a must but unfortunately on the day we visited Jason Statham was filming a movie so access to some of the sights was not possible. We cannot rate this Hotel highly enough and we are already looking to rebook again for next year or maybe even in the winter . A million thank yous to all the staff in both hotels. Malta is a beautiful island and we can’t wait to come back to this hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and everything this Hotel had to offer it is definitely worth it rating. We also had no issues with any construction noise and our rooms were beautiful with so much attention to detail.

Good but more of a 4*
City center establishment renovated with taste! Rooftop pool a bit cramped and room air conditioning noisy and aimed directly at the bed!
