Top stay

We spent four unforgettable days in Ta Marie Merħba on Gozo two weeks ago — what a gem! From the moment we entered, we felt at home with Nancy and Peter immediately. The B&B has been beautifully renovated, with typical Maltese sandstone walls, high ceilings and charming wooden beams. Every morning we enjoyed a homemade breakfast with fresh, seasonal products – something new every day, and always served with love. The roof terraces offered breathtaking views over the valleys and the sea, ideal for relaxing with a cool glass of wine. Nancy and Peter also helped us with perfect tips for trips, walks and boat trips. Gozo itself is a dream: tranquility, authenticity, nature and beautiful villages. In short, this stay made our trip complete — we can highly recommend Ta Marie Merħba!

Very nice b&b decorated with taste. Friendly and helpful hostess and host. Super tasty breakfast and very nice dinner on request! Highly recommended!

what can we say - Superb !

Wow what can we say . We've stayed at many b and bs over the years but never have been treated so well. Peter and Nancy are the best hosts you arrive as guests but feel you leave as friends. Endless coffee and cake in the afternoons. Breakfast started with a hot dish then salad, fruits, bread and endless coffee. If you're there on a Monday don't miss Peters table d'hote . We were absolutely stuffed !!! Restaurant standard cooking from our host.
They speak English perfectly and other languages too .
The house is just as described . we had the dragonfly suite on the top floor , steep stairs but not a problem for us and the roof patio was just outside the door.
They are so helpful with information about Gozo and gave us lots of help with planned walks .
if we return to Gozo there's no where else we would stay .

Top holiday spot

"hidden gems" are known to be something people don't always like to share. I (we) really want to make an exception because you must have been with Peter and Nancy.
Gozo: beautiful, quiet beaches, enough things to fill at least a week at ease.
B&B: after 20 years of B&B experience we can only speak in superlatives.
Best breakfast ever (with always a changing sweet or savory starter - faut le faire), sympathetic (very sure), knowledge of the area (incredible), knowledge of good places to eat (and they are reserved for you), spacious and clean rooms, taxi service, always in the mood for a chat, world citizens, and so on...
Top holiday had and we will definitely go back there...
