A charming place, exceptional view

The hotel is in a typical old Berber house. Welcoming and Service are excellent. The view is also superb at sunrise. Beautiful terrace overlooking the ksar. Decent breakfasts. The rooms are uneven. Some are small and very dark, others have a direct view of the ksar. The best have a private terrace, in gallery. Only negative, in our so-called family room, two beds out of three, had the mattress and bed base stoned, uncomfortable bedding.

Nice location and a nice hotel with a good breakfast. Hotel breathes a wonderfully authentic atmosphere.

Great Welcome Amazing View

Rolling into the car park you are greeted with traditional Moroccan hotel with the open central hall lined with the rooms. We had a good sized room with a large firm bed. So pleased with the hotel, the real treat is looking from the window out to the Ait Benhaddou. The hotel has a terrace where we had dinner and breakfast so the Ksar could be admired at sunset and sunrise. A gate led out to the alley way to be able to wander down to the historic fortified village. The hotel also had medium size pool to cool from hot sun.
A comfortable traditional hotel, friendly team with the most incredible view.

Super friendly Riad with nice views

Pros
• The terrace has an amazing view over Aït Benhaddou and is a lovely place to have breakfast in the morning.
• The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to support us while traveling with our 11-month-old baby, arranged a taxi for us, and even carried our luggage to the room.
• Every evening they serve a full dinner menu in their restaurant, which is very convenient after a day of exploring the area.
Cons
• It’s a traditional riad, so don’t expect the facilities of a modern four-star hotel. But that’s also part of the charm and exactly why you choose to stay in a riad

Great location - but otherwise not so great....

The best thing about this riad is the location: large terrace with great direct views of the Kasbah. Our room was very small and only acceptable for 1 night (especially compared to the other Riyadh accommodations; maybe that was also due to a last minute rebooking). Food was neat, even if there was no choice for dinner. Staff were friendly and helpful.
