Great stay and location

A lovely stay at Diamant Riad in Fes. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and very accommodating, always happy to help. Breakfast was good and freshly prepared, and the location is excellent right in the heart of the Medina. The only small downside is that you need to walk a short distance from the car park, but it’s absolutely worth it for the experience. Would happily stay here again.

Hotel where you are asked to cancel your reservation

After reading rave reviews, it was decided to book this riad. However, what do you think? after booking, they write to me to cancel the reservation myself, as they have overbooking, although for some reason on all platforms all rooms are available to them. I write to them - I can't cancel, the reservation is non-refundable, to which I get a reply - all will be returned to you, only cancel, have a good day! It's a stunning sur-situation like no other country in the world. Suggest another number, etc. All in all, gentlemen, a terrible experience that objectively affects the service of this establishment. I would ignore it.

Excellent!

We had an excellent experience here. A few days before departure Ibrahim already contacted us with some tips and asking for our needs. He organized transport from the Witt port at a decent price and came to pick us up personally. On the way to the riad we got a mini tour with some pointers about the history and what to look for to when navigating the 900+ streets of the Medina. The riad is very clean and comfortable. We were on the top floor, which meant climbing quite some stairs but there are rooms at lower floors too, if stairs are an issue for you. The food served is really good and reasonably priced. We had a wonderful lunch on the first day. The second day a nice take-out breakfast was prepared before as we went on an early morning tour. Breakfast at the riad also is a dream. Fresh fruit, coffee/tea/juices, bread, olives, egg or omelette included by request. We choose to organize trips locally as we travelled in between a busy work period. Also for this you’re at the right place here. Good advice, options open to choose and enjoyable experiences as expected and as agreed. There was a bit of a smell in the bathroom on arrival but it was easy to air the room after which all was fine. The communal spaces (roof terrace, breakfast room, reception area) have a warm atmosphere and are pleasant to stay at. Highly recommended to stay here when in Fez!

Wonderful

Absolutely perfect. It is a historic riad that was recently renovated, so in addition to authentic, it is very comfortable. It is well located between the Blue Gate and the curtaumes, so everything is accessible on foot. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were welcomed with teas and cookies, recommended restaurants and tours, but without insistence, and even offered us a dinner on the terrace on behalf of the house. Wouldn't think twice before booking here.
