An oriental palace in Fez

From the outside it is an inconspicuous door, from the inside it is an oriental palace.
It is located right in the Medina with all Things to do within walking distance.
The rooms are all different, tomorrow there is breakfast and on request in the evening dinner. It was delicious and very surprising every day.
Food is available downstairs in the hall or on top of the terrace with beautiful views over Fez.
Walking with a Guide through the narrow streets, it's incredible.

Extraordinary

Just perfect. A sumptuous decor, an unparalleled welcome, a wonderful cook...
We had a perfect stay in this unusual and timeless riad. Not to be missed if you are in Fés because this place and the hosts deserve to be known.

The stay was good, but the riad was impossible to locate without assistance

The location was in a 400-year old building which wasn't marked at all. Just an unmarked door which looked like someone's home. Locals on the street (who were after tips) helped us find the riad.
Inside it was beautiful and also my room was very nicely decorated. I had a large comfortable bed and slept well. There was quite a long staircase to my room and even within the room there was a staircase for the bathroom. In the shower there was only cold water.
There were no power sockets near the bed and overall there were only two sockets in the whole room plus one in the bathroom.
The breakfast was good.
The riad seemed to be a family business with two generations working in it. The younger generation spoke English.
