Wonderful Moroccan hospitality

Gorgeous riad with staff of an impressed kindness. Super nice rooms, very romantic.
Swimming pool very refreshing. Breakfast and dinner (improvised) super good.

Amazing, underrated rustic boutique riad. Amazing hosts

Wonderful, way underrated for such a fabulous boutique experience. The best home cooked food, amazing hosts, beautifully rustic decor. Do not drive pay!

Good place to stay between Boumalne and Tinghir

Like most riads the exterior gives no indication of the inside. The rooms are well furnished with some antiques and the beds are comfortable, at least our’s was. Everything works and the bathrooms are especially stylish in a Moroccan manner, our bathroom had twin copper basins!
It’s amazing they’ve been able to fit 5 bedrooms, a swimming pool, relaxing area, dining room and kitchen into the premises - and roof terraces of course.
The location is on the main road but the sound doesn’t intrude.
Rashid, the manager, is extremely pleasant and nothing was too much trouble for him. He also acts as the chef and produced an excellent dinner.
You need your own transport, we didn’t have any and had to rely on taxis - not ideal.
Recommended but only if you have your own wheels.

Excellent surprise

When we arrived and realised the riad was far from the town we were concerned about the standard of the accommodation but we were absolutely wrong. This is a hidden gem. The proprietor is so welcoming and kind. There is a sauna and a jacuzzi which we had to ourselves- what a treat. We could see the beautiful starry night sky from the jacuzzi. The rooms are lovely with very comfortable beds. The breakfast was beautiful, a stack of fresh crepe style pancakes plus so much more. The best breakfast we’ve had in Morocco. The children got to feed the turtles and play on the piano after swimming in the beautiful pool. There’s a shop next door which was helpful.
Even though we were there less than 24 hours it was a total treat. We loved our stay, if you are travelling in the area definitely use this as your base.
