Ottima posizione

Abbiamo soggiornato 2 notti e abbiamo apprezzato il monolocale tranquillo. A pochi passi da Blue Bay, ristoranti e altro ancora. Parcheggio gratuito, ottima connessione wifi, bel patio esterno con gatto amichevole, facile accesso alla spiaggia (e molte meno persone rispetto a Blue Bay). Vicino all'aeroporto (1.000 per il taxi).
Aria condizionata, ventilatori, TV, lavatrice. Doccia esterna per il dopo spiaggia e teli mare forniti. La cucina è allestita in modo da poter mangiare se porti il tuo cibo.

Vacanza meravigliosa.

La Villa Blanche dove abbiamo soggiornato noi non è una villa lussuosa ma è grande e molto comoda con 3 camere e 2 bagni e mezzo, è in una posizione fantastica a soli 10 metri dal mare è ben accessoriata ed ha tutto ciò che può servire sia per il relax che per la spiaggia. La cucina ha tutto ciò che occorre compresi microonde, forno e lavastoviglie, però i mobili della cucina sono datati e a parer mio andrebbero rivisti e tutta la casa ne guadagnerebbe. Il giardino è ben tenuto e tanti uccellini tengono compagnia insieme a due galline, 2 gatti in cerca di coccole e due grosse tartarughe giganti. Pulizia giornaliera effettuate da Sureka una gentile signora mauriziana sempre sorridente che, se lo volete, cucinerà per voi un'ottima cena creola. La spiaggia davanti alla casa, a cui si accede attraverso un cancellino privato, è il vero gioiello di questa casa ha sabbia fine e bianchissima ed è praticamente deserta, l’acqua del mare è cristallina, degrada dolcemente ed è fantastica per lo snorkeling con pesci e coralli, essendo la baia circondata dal reef l’acqua è sempre tranquilla e senza onde. Un particolare grazie a Cecilia, host gentilissima, è stata molto disponibile consegnandoci la casa al nostro arrivo la mattina presto e lasciandocela a disposizione fino a sera tardi il giorno della partenza consentendoci così di poter fare una doccia e cenare prima di andare all'aeroporto. La macchina è indispensabile perché il supermercato non è vicino. Il posto è adatto per chi cerca tranquillità, privacy e bella spiaggia deserta non essendoci vicino null’altro che un ristorantino e un mare stupendo. Intorno nessun luogo chiassoso o di divertimento, quello che cercavamo noi per evadere dal mondo, dal lavoro e dagli impegni quotidiani. Le telecamere di sicurezza, che non so però se siano o meno in funzione, sono disseminate per tutto il giardino, il wifi è veloce e ottimamente funzionante. La vicinanza con l'aeroporto non disturba, i voli non sono tanti e nessuno notturno. Se torneremo a Mauritius di sicuro torneremo in zona sud est e torneremo a Villa du Lagon.

Veramente belle spiagge bianche in legno lucido!

Ho appena non mi aspettavo questo posto per essere il più tranquillo e bello come questo. La Pointe d'Esny è un piccolo gioiello con lunga strecthes di spiagge di sabbia bianca e acqua cristallina. Ho trascorso quattro giorni a Villa du Lagon, che ha tutto il necessario per trascorrere la vacanza perfetta. Sia il personale e il proprietario è molto gentile e disponibile, che ha reso il mio soggiorno ancora più bello.

Fabulous in everything!

We stayed here for 6 nights with our friends and after we visited 2 other accommodation, this one was absolutely the best - let me tell you why :
- Cécilia is very welcomed and helpful all the time (if you need)
- the house is on the beach - the beach is mostly just for you, no other guests
- I the sea you can see a life under - small fishes
- close to the Blue Bay beach and Point d'Esny by foot through the beach - so you can have an option to try if you feel a little bit bored alone on the beach
- 7 minutes walk by the road to the snack and restaurant
- if you want to try local bus, bus stop just behind the house
- house is under alarm just for your safety - nice :)
- fully equipped house including kitchen
- THE BEST is Farida - local maid who is the best cooker I've met ever! She cooked for our 3 meals and we were really excited about all of them - absolutely recommend her services - her skills are local, yummy and better and cheaper than to eat in restaurants
- wifi works in whole house
- house has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with toilet and ground level included kitchen (fully equipped), eating space, living room, toilet and awesome garden where you can stay when it's rainy
Cécilia takes care of 2 cats, 2 turtles and another small animals which you can see if you want to, they are not bothering you, don't worry about that ;) Cécilia is also kind to provide you a taxi driver for very good price who was extremely friendly and told us a lot of local history and - that's most important - he was ON TIME - no "Mauritius time manners" as we had experienced before.
Hope I didn't forget something important, but frankly this is the nice and quiet spot with all the things you need when on vacation if you want to taste the real Mauritius. If comming back, definitely stay in here.

Fantastic Place to Stay

We stayed with Cecilia and Frederic so we could run in the Mauritius Marathon. The cottages are very clean and well equipped. We loved the friendly cats who liked to sleep on our deck and feeding vegetable scraps to the resident tortoises. Blue Bay and several nice restaurants are within a few minutes walk and the town of Mahebourg is a short taxi or bus ride away. The best part is the private walkway directly to the beach where swimming, snorkelling or just relaxing are all possible. The beach is protected by an outer reef so there is little current but the sound of crashing waves makes you aware of the power of the ocean. The winds are great for flying kites or wind surfing and the sand is fine and clean. This is possibly the best place to stay in Mauritius. Cecilia even booked a taxi to pick us up at the airport to make our stay completely stress free.
