A place close to Trou aux Biches beach for swimming or a sunset is a real asset if you do not want to take a vehicle .
The bus stop is just a few steps away to explore this wonderful island. Regarding the hotel, I stayed at the Palmistes residence which is just a few steps away (plus a small pool to cool off) while enjoying the buffet and activities of the hotel, which were great . My room was spacious and very clean.
I met wonderful people during my evenings, where the good atmosphere is synonymous with friendship to this day. The buffet is decent. Every day there are new dishes and attentive servers, just like their managers.
I took an excursion with the hotel, Chamarel is very good, I do not regret it!

Superb stay

Hotel on a human scale, very attentive staff and small care that allowed us to be accompanied even for excursions. Everything has been very well as much through the reception, the animator or the drivers made available to needs. Each of them welcomed us with kindness! The pools are very good as well as varied catering. Thank you!

What’s around Heart of Troux aux Beaches

We stayed my husband and I in August in the Residence Le Palmiste in a comfort plus room (with balcony, it was a triple).The Comfort rooms do not have a private balcony .Our room was on the top floor, very spacious with 2 bedrooms, a very spacious terrace furnished with a table and two armchairs and another small balcony in the other room .A private bathroom spacious.The furniture is very simple but functional.Every day they went to do the cleaning and changed the towels.Obviously we are on a tropical island so you can find some geckos on the walls, we did not bother.The staff who came to do the cleaning always kind!You can use all the services of the Hotel Resort le Palmiste (pool, restaurant, spa etc.) which is part of the Residence that is located outside the hotel about 2 minuti.Noi had done half pension.The food is quite varied, mainly Mauritian cuisine, Indian and a little 'international, certainly quite speziata.N' Hotel few speak Italian but the waiters of the restaurant, the bar and the boys of the rooms tried in all ways to communicate with kindness and were always smiling. I would recommend to put on the board especially for those who do not speak Italian departure times with the shuttles back to the airport because maybe not everyone receives messages from their tour operators and at reception it becomes difficult to understand each other. The hotel is about 7 minutes walk from the public beach of Troux aux Beaches, in our opinion one of the most beautiful beaches of the island with several kiosks where to eat, baths and showers on the public beach clean.We hope to return soon, it is a really beautiful island both for the sea, the interior with forests and many Temples, the mix of cultures and the kindness of people.

Hotel experience

Malfunctioning air conditioning, room 338. Unit is placed above door entrance but in sleeping area it remains hot!
