Best hotel in the area - clean and modern
Lo siento. I am so sorry that I waited so long to give this review.
Yes I recommend this hotel for family and friends.
I am from the USA and stated at this hotel for a CFM Aljaba reunion about 30 minutes south of the hotel. The hotel is for people who drive a vehicle and are passing through the area. The highway road was very bumpy with potholes. I recommend arriving during the daytime.
My room was spacious with a bed large enough to fit 2 people.
A lot of stone was used which made the room look modern. Breakfast was included with my room.
Breakfast was hot and delicious - much better than free breakfasts in the USA.
There are stairs that go up. I do not remember if there was an elevator.
I never met the receptionist. The receptionist is behind a glass window. The money is slid through the window.
There was nothing to see or do nearby.
My room was on the second floor. From my room I could see the volcano with snow on the top.
There was no heating or air conditioning in the room so during the day I opened a window and at night I closed the window.
I was a solo female traveler who spoke very little Spanish. No one on staff spoke English. I learned how it felt to be in a strange land with no one to communicate with.
There are other motels in the area but they are far apart - not walking distance. Hotel Fontesanta was the best hotel in the area and was much better than all cheap hotels in the USA. You know you are in a cheap hotel but the building and construction is high class minimalist using stone and wood. There was internet but it was slow.
If you are traveling through this area and need a place to rest, yes, this is a good place.
There is a very small breakfast area if you need a place to gather with a small group of friends or family.
Bring an English Spanish dictionary so you can communicate what you need. This is not a tourist area.
When I return again to the area, I will gather more details and update my review. I hope this post helps.

Nos sorprendió!!
Solo me hospedé una noche en el hotel, pero me hubiese encantado pasar más días en él. Me sorprendió lo bonitas que son sus habitaciones, nuevas, muy grandes, limpias y BARATAS!
El precio que pagamos por la noche se me hizo súper económico comparado con la habitación que nos dieron.
El único pero que le pongo es que casi no se mostraba el personal, a la chica de recepción nunca le vez la cara.
Creo que también es motel o lo fue pero aún así había familias hospedadas y el ambiente es muy tranquilo. Súper recomendable.

Hotel economico
Hotel familiar, buen servicio , precios accesibles, limpio trato amable, habitaciones confortables,agua caliente 24 hrs, ambiente familiar, tambien cuenta con habitaciones de 6 hrs.se recomienda pedir cobija adicional, ya que el clima por alla es muy frio

Un hotel nuevo con excelentes instalaciones
Este hotel me dejo asombrado por el tamaño de sus habitaciones hoteleras, espaciosas para dos, tres o cuatro personas, con excelentes camas, baño espacioso, buena televisión y sistema de cable, si llevan niños cuidados con los canales para adultos que están abiertos para verse a cualquier hora, tiene un adecuado estacionamiento, un bello restaurante con servicio las 24 horas, y esta a pie de la carretera que conduce al Parque Nacional Izta-Popocatepetl.

Horrible
No se dejen engañar no es un hotel es un motel cualquiera y muy feo. En general las habitaciones apestan como a cigarrillo lavado y la comida es muy mala. Existen mucho mejores opciones. Jamas volvería ahí.
