My New Home, Away from Home!
I am so happy to have found Aletse's place! The second you walk through the entrance you are welcomed by an oasis behind the door! From the pool, to my room with a private patio equipped with hammock (Suite 3), to the outdoor breakfast area, this place is set-up for complete relaxation. I did some scuba diving while I was there and was about a 15 minute walk to the marina and after a day of diving it was so nice to come back and hang out on the hammock for the afternoon.
There are many restaurants nearby and an Oxxo (convenience store) one block away. Don't miss out on her breakfast included in your stay! So delicious! I saw many bringing books to read at the tables too. It really is just the perfect place, especially if you want to get away from the night life down on the marina.
Aletse took care of transportation both ways for me which was so nice to have a driver waiting for me when I landed and was prompt in taking me back to the airport. The drivers of the service were so nice and fun to chat with on the 45 minute drives. She also gave me recommendations on what to do including heading to an art market that was going on when I first arrived. I bought cinnamon rolls from one of the vendors she suggested and they were huge and delicious. They fed me for 3 days!

An oasis
An oasis away from the party scene & big resorts. Plenty of restaurants & cafes within walking distance to satisfy needs. You won’t need to go elsewhere for breakfast. It is delicious and very filling. Ale accommodates your allergies or dietary restrictions. I told Ale she should publish a book of her breakfast recipes. Great fresh juice! Very good coffee too! The breakfast area is nice too & I enjoyed watching the birds have their breakfast too. An easy walk to the marina & downtown. The direct route can be a bit steep on the way back but you can zig zag back on alternative streets. The BUNGALOWS is a charming, well kept, clean boutique hotel with pool, loungers, hammocks, & pool towels. I appreciated the shade provided by the palm trees & vegetation. The grounds are nice. Ale, host, & staff are very sweet, helpful & responsive. We stayed here for a week in a nice Mexican tiled 1st floor room, with a small sitting area with sofa, tv and with access to private outdoor shaded patio area with hammock, loungers and table. The room also had a small kitchen area with fridge, microwave, sink. We didn’t use the patio area very much as the mosquitos liked me too much. The first night we were woken by neighbour’s dogs barking, but mostly quiet thereafter.The detailed information, instructions and suggestions before your arrival are super helpful whether you stay here or elsewhere in Cabo San Lucas! Parking (& smoking area) are out front of the property. Recommend for folks wanting a more personable experience not a big resort.

A little Oasis near downtown
This hotel was a delight. We stayed for 3 days with our 3 year old daughter whilst attending a wedding. Ale , the owner is wonderful and really makes you feel at home. She fed the birds with our daughter every morning and was so patient with her. The breakfasts are excellent and for the other meals, we got great recommendations from Ale. We had a King suite which was more than enough room for our little family. The hotel only has about 16 rooms so you get to know the other guests at breakfast etc but there’s enough space that everyone has their own privacy. Thoroughly recommend.

Incredible stay!
I truly wish I could give The Bungalows more than 5 stars. Alle’s hospitality is beyond words. The rooms are great, the space is quiet and just off the beaten path enough to feel like you are in a quiet oasis away from the most touristy and party-central area, but it’s within walking distance from it all. The breakfast is unbeatable and the afternoon hibiscus tea by the pool is wonderful. I can’t wait to go back!

A special place
This is a smaller hotel and a welcome place of peace and seclusion in walking distance to the city. I enjoyed the decorations and attention to detail. Slept great. Breakfast is wonderful. You will miss this place when you leave! It doesn’t have all the amenities maybe a big time resort hotel has but I didn’t miss a thing and, in fact, I loved it more because of its simplicity and peace.
