The Adhara Express was under renovation so was transferred to an upgraded room at their sister hotel Adhara Hacienda Hotel - in a quiet well situated location within 5 mins of the main centre.

This hotel is not even open. Upon arrival we are mived to the Adhara Hacienda. How can reservations still be taken on this site. This is the second time this situation has happened.

Hotel not even open!

I booked this hotel because it had good teipadvisor reviews. However, I turn up (after they had taken my money a couple of days before) and I am presented with a letter sayinng it is closed for refurbishment! How can they let you book and pay for a hotel that is closed? Or if it had to close suddenly why was there no communication? Do not use this hotel!

We booked this place as it checked off most if not all the boxes. Upon arriving to the property we were told the building is closed for renovations. Though, we would be able to book/reserve at their sister company. We booked places around this area as it was walking distance to most do the places we wanted to try. However being moved to the other hotel put a damper on most of our plans and had to relook/rebook certain things and actually pay to be taken to said places. I figured we’d get a discount for the issue of not being told about the work but nope.

I cannot provide a review of Adhara Express because we did not stay there. We were redirected to their sister property, Hotel Adhara Cancun, so I cannot comment on the rooms, service, or experience at Adhara Express itself. My feedback would not be accurate or fair for future guests.
