The property is dated, but in pretty good shape.
The room was nice and clean. The only complaint that I have was that the lock on the sliding door did not engage properly. Other than that everything else was great.
The staff was very friendly and helpful and we loved the restaurant there as well as the bar. The pool was very nice and the location is very convenient. It is not on the beach, but right across the street from it. North Beach is a short walk away as well as many great restaurants.
We walked from the ferry to the hotel without much issue. The amount of people on the streets (tourists at the shops) was the biggest issue. Also the streets are filled with rental golf carts. Mind you that none of this takes away from the Hotel itself.
I do believe that we got a good bang for our buck with the hotel. I would definitely stay there again.

The room had a strong musty/moldy smell, which was quite unpleasant. The bathroom is very outdated and not very practical.
The pool was okay.
On the positive side, the location is absolutely beautiful.

Perfect location

The longer I stayed here the higher my review became. When I think about what I got for the price I paid - I would stay here again! Location is perfect for beach shopping and dining. Both hotel restaurants had the best food drink and staff. Note * no elevator, got a suite with kitchen, dishes etc -no utensils . Was supposed to have a couch-I got a micro Barbie kids folding something or other . Again totally worth the price ! Will stay again

No Water

Super mixed feelings. The hotel is right on Centro Beach - amazing location - can't beat it. Close to everything (i.e., downtown, restaurants, etc.) The hotel was clean and air conditioning top notch but everything else wasn't so good. The beds were hard as rock, plumbing not so much (i.e., sign by the toilet says don't flush toilet paper down the toilet), there was a gap at the bottom of the door (i.e., you could see light coming from the hallway), and the topper was after we came back from dinner - there was no water (i.e., couldn't flush the toilet or take a shower). The whole hotel had no water. It took 5 or 6 hours for the water to come back online. I could have put up with a lot - but the water thing was a real nonstarter.

The location is stellar especially with their back gate !!!! This is an older property like many on Isla. The rooms are immaculate, AC is colder than your ex's heart, and the shower is the best one I've had on vacay. The pool area and chairs are great, but the pool needs some repairs. It didn't seem like the pump and filters were working..... The location, and interior of rooms over shadow the negatives.
