Basic but safe, cheap, convenient

We felt safe. You get what you pay for, so don't expect anything more than the basics. Just a cheap place to sleep while you spend all day out exploring. Convenient location as well. Hot showers and I appreciated having a kitchen to make my morning coffee.

Den of thieves

Im 1 of the good guys. But these scum bags are nothing that you want to associate with. They stole personal items from our room and never returned our key deposit. They spoke english until we needed our belongings found. The camera above our door was facing the wall after we noticed our room had beed broken into.
Noisy as hell with heavy metal bar over the road. Broken toilet. No fridge. Poor wifi. Traffic is hectic.

Isolated though worth for what you pay.

Spent a night there. The hostel is located on the end of Bolivar street near some local "rowdy" bars. The building is quite dated. The guy who received me, told me that they did not have any rooms available and stepped outside for a moment, looked around and said there was a room which seemed quite creepy.
Surprisingly, the bed was comfortable. The room had no window or ventilation. Toilet was broken and there was no toilet paper. Though on the brighter side, they have a nice warm shower.
For 13 USD a private room near the centre is a good deal.

Not that nice

It's cheap, but:
Dirty, ants and insects in all rooms, no windows, broken toilet, no toilet paper, HAIRS all over, noisy
Only plus: check-in at 7am was no problem, they have a kitchen (oven, fridge, microwave)

Dirty Pension Zocalo

Terrible place to stay,no window,dirty,broken toilet,
.Do not stay in this place.When we arrived ,we were told that thay don't have our reservation.Gave us small room with no windows,dirty and not livable.
