Casa de la Costa: Our Home Away From Home on the Troncones Coast
Casa de la Costa continues to be a remarkable place to stay — this was our fourth year in a row visiting, and we highly recommend it. We love staying for multiple weeks at a time, and it truly feels like a home away from home.
The property sits right on the ocean and is incredibly beautiful, luxurious, and welcoming at the same time. Pam is a wonderful host who clearly takes pride in every detail and keeps the entire property running immaculately. She is very willing to help with any question or hellp you ask of her.
What truly makes the experience special is the staff. Mine, Jose, and Diana are amazing — friendly, attentive, and always ready to help make your stay comfortable and relaxing. Mine is willing to cook on-site any meals with a couple of days notice and they are delicious! Their warmth and care add so much to the experience.
The suites are immaculately maintained, spacious, and very comfortable, with private kitchens stocked with everything you might need. Our suite had a king bed plus a loft with two full beds, which worked perfectly. We also love the location — it’s easy to get to restaurants in both Troncones and Majahua, while still feeling peaceful and tucked away.
After four wonderful years, we can honestly say Casa de la Costa is one of our favorite places to stay, and we always look forward to returning.

Our stay at Casa de la Costa was enchanting, and we can't help but share our experience of this hidden gem that truly outshines other villas in the region. Pam, the owner, has woven an extraordinary touch into every detail of Casa de la Costa, showcasing a level of meticulousness that is beyond commendable.
Tucked away at the northern edge of Troncones, the villa provided a perfect haven especially for those who appreciate the charm of Troncones, Mahuajau, and the areas further north. Tailored for adults, the 3-room villa emanates tranquility, with each room offering its own kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, loft, and an open patio area. The common spaces are thoughtfully curated, featuring cozy corners, a stunning dining area, and an infinity pool adorned with chaise lounges both in front and behind, as well as beachside Adirondack/plastic chairs.
Managed by Mine, the on-site staff including Diana and Jose deserve every accolade. Their hard work, dedication, and genuine care create an atmosphere that goes beyond mere accommodation, making guests truly feel at home. The staff's keen understanding of our preferences ensured a seamless and discreet service that elevated our overall experience. The villa itself is a testament to immaculate upkeep, with the diligent staff ensuring order every day. Our decision to indulge in catered ‘in-house’ meals proved to be a delightful experience, with Mine at the helm offering savory dishes, including the best chilaquiles we've ever experienced in the area. Freshly prepared meals and inclusive table service added an unexpected layer of indulgence to staying in.
Pam and her team set a benchmark for hospitality by consistently going above and beyond. Their eagerness to assist, anticipate needs, and proactively make arrangements sets Casa de la Costa even further apart from other villas in the area. Questions are met with thorough answers, and requests are addressed before you even voice them, showcasing their commitment to guest satisfaction.
Beyond the confines of the villa, my husband and I always enjoy the breathtaking sunset and beach access on both sides contributed to the villa’s allure. We explored tidepools full of fascinating creatures to the north and enjoyed walks along the southern beach. Whether opting for bikes, ATVs, or a car to explore the surroundings, the transportation options provided flexibility.

King and Queen
... that's how we felt. Mine, Jose and Diana were the attentive staff. They anticipated and responded joyfully to our every need. The inner Casa was the perfect choice for a couple (thanks Pam)! The interior design and the landscaping were exquisite and emaculate. Communication prior to, during and after our stay was prompt and ever so helpful. Only steps to the beach. Completely loved our stay here.

Incredible
Casa de la Costa is a remarkable place to stay, the owner Pam is a wonderful host, and has paid attentive to every detail. The property is on the ocean, is incredibly beautiful and luxurious and has a warm and friendly feel. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The suites are immaculately maintained, are large and comfortable, with private kitchens appointed with anything you could need. The suite had a king bed, plus a loft with two full beds. We liked the location because it was easy to get to both Troncones and Majahua restaurants. We loved staying at Casa de la Costa and can’t wait to go back.

Beautiful getaway by the sea!
Casa de la Costa is a wonderful intimate place to stay right on the beach. The units are spacious and it's so lovely to have a kitchenette and patio beside the pool. We enjoyed it a lot and hear they will soon provide a more full breakfast, which will be a great addition. Also, Pam was extremely helpful with local tips and answering all of our questions about Troncones. Highly recommend.
