A fantastic boutique hotel that is small but has it all!!

We loved our time here at Olas!!! Our rooms were very spacious and very comfortable. One of them had a small kitchenette and both had fridges. It was very quiet and peaceful! The staff were friendly and helpful although not all could speak English there was always someone around who could speak English. The breakfast that was included was awesome and always included 3 choices. We were about 5 minutes from the beach and lots of great restaurants! Loved our time here and will plan to return.

Excellent stay 10/10

The place is amazing, the service is excellent, I want to congratulate Margarita reception for being on the lookout at the time of our arrival.
Very clean room and super rich breakfast. ❤️ 10/10

Perfect accommodation

We had a great time in Olas de Cerritos. The accommodation was perfect, the room large and clean. Very nice pool and hearty breakfast. We were five minutes from the beach, which was perfect because we were not close to the noise and music. The room is equipped with a small kitchen for those who want to eat on site. I highly recommend

Fine but you will be an accounting entry rather than a valued guest

Fantastic location and rooms are nice enough but the owners are short-sighted, hard to reach, and uninterested in building customer loyalty.
Unfortunately my family experienced a crisis over our winter holidays that forced us to cut short our trip.
When we communicated with the receptionist they were not empowered to make any significant business decision, and had to reach out to the owners who (we were told) were not in the area.
The owners ultimately decided not to show any flexibility or compassion (which is their prerogative - mine is to let others know about our experience). Incidentally, they did not even offer partial reimbursement or credit toward future use for dates in our extended booking beyond the 7-day no-cancellation window.
Honestly, even with a profit motive, it was a poor decision as we have been to Cerritos before, and are planning to go many times again so the owners could probably have earned 10x more by showing a bit of compassion and earning our goodwill at a trying moment.

Lovely boutique hotel right by the beach.

Our favorite place in Los Cerritos!! My husband and I had the opportunity to stay at Olas for 2 weeks, but we could have stayed even longer! Breakfast (included!) is sooo tasty - they always had at least one American & one Mexican dish available, cooked to order. The rooms are clean, the bed is super comfy, and the pool is really lovely. Because it’s a small hotel, it’s very quiet & peaceful. We actually got to know a few of the people staying at the hotel at the same time which was fun.
Beyond that, location is keyShort walk to the beach, plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby, etc. Having complimentary beach chairs, umbrellas, & other gear was also key - we didn’t have to pay beach vendors. I can see why they have so many repeat visitors
