Magic at Loreto
Our stay at the Loreto Bay Hotel was fantastic in all senses!! The hotel, wit it's rustic, friendly, non-big resort feel is just incredible. The room was very comfortable and conveniently situated about 300 feet form one of the best lagoon-bay like, peaceful and stress-free. The personal, all of them, treated us like family and made our experience magical. I'd like to mention several of them by name: Bianca, Ernesto and Adriq at the reception. And Mercedes, Luis, Gibran, Orlando, Francisco, Judith, Karina, and Cecilia at the restaurants and stores. Thank you so much for a great experience!!

Excellent vacation spot with easy tour pick up
Great location, direct access to the beach and easy pick up at the beach to go on tours. Clean room and great staff. Everyone was helpful and provided useful information. Good at Cacto restaurant was good. Guillermo provided recommendations on tourist spots to visit. Tracy helped us book tours to Isla Coronado and Isla del Carmen/Isla Danzante. Javier helped us upon arrival. Calm and relaxing atmosphere.

Great place
At ate the BeLoft restaurant several times during our stay. Mercedes and staff were great. They promptly greeted and served us. Specifically, on the last day of the World Cup game when it was crowded and just her. Would definitely return.

Amazing, relaxing hotel
Amazing, peaceful, clean place. The food at the restaurant was amazing, drinks were good. Atmosphere was great. Adrin at front counter was so kind and professional. Mercedes at restaurant was super attentive. First time of many staying here.

Resort grounds with motel amenities and service
We stayed here during the low season and had a pleasant overall experience, but it wasn't quite what we expected based on the photos and resort branding.
The biggest highlight is the property itself. The grounds are beautifully landscaped, well maintained, and have a true resort feel. The beach is peaceful and secluded, and we enjoyed spotting fish in the clear water right from shore. The pool area is also very nice, and the swim-up bar was a fun touch. We also appreciated the complimentary kayak rental, which was a nice perk.
Our room was clean and comfortable, and the location was convenient to the airport—about a 15-minute drive. The town of Loreto is also only about 15 minutes away by car.
One pleasant surprise was the restaurant by the pool. During our stay, it was the only restaurant open on-site, but the food was very good and reasonably priced. However, guests should be aware that dining options are limited, especially during the off-season, and there are not many restaurants within walking distance.
Where the property fell short for us was in the amenities and overall service. While the grounds feel upscale, some of the details did not match a resort-level experience. The bath towels were noticeably worn, frayed, and in need of replacement. Basic amenities were minimal, and we found ourselves expecting a higher level of comfort and attention to detail.
The pool was cleaned in the mornings, but by the afternoon there were often bugs and wasps floating in the water. We also found some of the procedures, such as checking out and returning pool towels with signed slips, to be a bit inconvenient compared to what we've experienced at other resorts.
Overall, this property has a lot going for it: beautiful grounds, a lovely beach, a nice pool area, and good food. Just know that it feels more like a hotel with resort-style surroundings than a full-service luxury resort. If your expectations are set accordingly, it can be a very enjoyable place to stay.
