The bad: We waited 40 minutes for check in, in a lobby that felt like 100 degrees, because several groups in front of us had check in problems. You have to wear a bracelet for your full visit. The restaurants on site seemed closed or only had super random, short hours. There's a jacuzzi but you can use it only if you're a member of some club. There's space for a kid's club, but it was closed all 4 days we were there. The room smelled like mildew. The hotel had a scheduled power outage for 1/2 a day on our last day (of course we were only told the night before), including elevators, forcing us to check out at 7:30am instead of 12pm since we were on the 7th floor. The hotel seemed a bit run down and lacking amenities, especially for the price. The pool was like a warm jacuzzi, seeming to be heated despite the 95 degree weather. The beach at this spot can be 0-20' deep, so there's not much of a place to hang out, but that also means fewer vendors and beach umbrellas, which is actually kind of nice.
The good: Good location on the beach, nice balconies, and a 10 minute walk to the grocery store. The room (oceanfront suite) was spacious, the AC worked well, and the beds were fairly comfortable.
Summary: Overpriced, older hotel with spacious suites and lacking amenities.

VERY BAD EXPERIENCE.

To start with, the ALL-INCLUSIVE is a lie, they deceive you with the information, not everything is included and it is annoying to have to ask, they tell you that domestic drinks are included which is not true: Modelo, Tecate, Corona and XX beer are not imported yet you have to pay, the tequila they offer you is cheap and beer only by refill and in a cup.
The bar service is good but very limited in terms of drinks.
There is a lot of inconsistency in the restaurant area; it seems there is no STANDARD of service, which causes a feeling of discrimination or favoritism.
Not to mention that there are COCKROACHES; I told the waiter and he didn't even apologize.
The mattresses need an urgent change.
The quality of the bath towels is abysmal.
We were left without electricity and it is incredible that the hotel does not have a power generator for these cases; being without electricity means there is no water in the rooms and it is very necessary for the restrooms, the elevators do not work, and there are elderly guests, some with canes, climbing the stairs.
In general, I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT.
The only good thing about our stay was:
The specialty dinner (Italian)
María, our housekeeper with a great attitude, deserves a promotion and a mention.
