Great place in the heart of Centro

I was motivated by low prices to look beyond the ancient reviews when booking a room for two nights.
Clean, great shower, good bead, extra pillows and blankets. Good breakfast too. Our dog was welcomed.
It’s true there are bands in the neighborhood. Welcome to Mexico.
There is no elevator. The steps are short, old people hops though.
There is parking at the new garage one block away.
Not posh but great for $45 2 nights!

Great disappointment

is a small hotel, I do not recommend them, it is dirty, very hard beds, horrible pillows, very worn sheets, the breakfast included were our stay of four pure nights chilaquiles if you want something else charge you, the restaurant its very dirty mandile, the only friendly was the young man at the reception, it was a great disappointment,

Good experience

Excellent location. Good attention. Austere but comfortable and clean rooms. Good attention from the reception staff. Free breakfast included with the price. Good quality/price ratio

Bad quality-price

The facilities are very deteriorated, neglected and the smell of the room is unpleasant, poor lighting in the room, no air conditioning, cleanliness leaves much to be desired for the price, the included breakfast is too austere, expensive compared to what it offers.

OK if there's NO other option

I might sound picky with this review due to the hotel's price but even good value hotels should have minimum cleanliness standards.
I was not expecting any kind of luxuries here but I was NOT expecting torn and dirty towels either my wife preferred to use a blouse instead of one.
There was no hot water or at least it takes more than two 5 minutes showers to come out.
Also there was not toilet paper in our bathroom when we arrived we had to ask for it and they kindly gave us a half way done roll.
Choose this hotel if you have no other option but I am pretty sure there are other hotels with a similar price that are in better conditions than this one.
