We loved our stay at cabanas biuzaa! The place looks very nice, has friendly staff and is located close to the beach and town! Because the cabanas are not on the main road, it is very quiet! We slept very good, the bed is also very comfortable!
It has a good price-quality range.
Would defenatly recommend it!

Great location, excellent value for||money, simple room with great customer service

Great value for money, excellent location, down a dirt road, but short walk to the beach. Customer service was excellent. Mel looked after me, even for my 7 pm arrival time. Antonio was also super helpful with local information and making me feel settled in.

Nice quiet place to stay

Cabanas Biuzaa is a charming little hotel off the beaten path in front of the playa. For that reason it is calm and quiet and just what I needed to kick back. The rooms are like little cabins with thatched roofs and bathrooms. Each is a cross between a traditional Mexican family hotel and a tourist destination. So they have fans and toilet seats but no a/c or hot water (which you really don't need here).

Recent stay, loud at night, not near beach.

I recently went to zipolite on my first solo adventure, excited to sit at the beach, relax and mediate. Zipolite is famous for those things. This hotel isn't near the beach, it's up a dirt road, staff is okay, but never gave me fresh towels, and only swept the room, not much for cleaning. At night the staff stayed up late drinking and playing terrible rap music on a laptop, not relaxing at all. My biggest complaint is the amazing amounts of ants in the rooms! No matter what I did I couldn't keep them out, I came home with over 50 bite marks. I asked the staff to call me a cab at the end of my stay so I could get to the airport and they took over 40 mins and then the cab who apparently was the staffs friend, tried to charge me more then the staff had originally quoted me. I will go back to zipolite for sure. But I strongly advise not staying here, there was so many other places to stay right on the beach for similar prices!

Beautiful but just too basic.

Friendly staff. Lovely gardens. Quaint cabanas. BUT...
Compared to many local places, it is a bit of a walk to the beach. It is up a steep dirt track and on motorcycles, it was quite a challenge getting up and especially down after it had rained.
I see some reviewers has issues with theft. Not us, but for the record, there is NO security n the cabanas. A good shove will get you right inside through the flimsy shutters.
The toilet and shower were grungy. There is no hot water. I do not mean it was out of order; I mean there IS no hot water - no tap - NEVER! Glad I wear a beard! The toilet had to be flushed manually by opening the cistern. The sink tap was loose.
There is no aircon, and although we had warm, not hot weather, the room was stifling.
There is NO food available. Nothing. Not even coffee.
There is a small bar that serves basic drinks.
There is free wi-fi that seemed to work quite well.
So, all in all, just a little too basic for me. I would look at one of the places ON the beach. This is a cheap area. Spend a bit more and go for the best there is.
