Very comfortable hotel.

We were 3 adults. Extremely clean room, change of linen and towels every day. Very comfortable bed. Shower with hot water, soap and shampoo. Indoor swimming pool very nice.

It is very nice the hotel castle of the king It is very nice the pool that has the hotel I really like to go why we always do the inn in the restaurant the Palencano and sometimes we do it in the hotel lounges I really liked the food of the restaurant the Palencano

Super prices and good location, very friendly receptionists, very comfortable and welcoming rooms... ....................I hope to return soon to Palenque Chiapas.. .......... Palenque gateway to the Mayan world

Check your other options first

We stayed at multiple hotels in the Yucatan and this was by far the worst. The wifi barely worked. The pool was brown at the bottom so we didn’t dare use it. The pool was indoors so it didn’t take advantage of the lovely weather. The breakfast room wasn’t open for breakfast.
Besides that, it’s far from the center of town and the view is a construction site.
Would definitely not recommend it to anyone.

Good hotel

Hotel Castillo del Ray in Palenque offers a good accommodation alternative in the area.
Julie, Luis and Roberto at the front desk were all courteous and helpful.
The 2-bed room we had is spacious, has a good layout and has a lot of counter space. It is also clean. I like that the sink is not inside the bathroom.
Two opportunity areas are the bathroom that tends to smell a bit bad (sewage-like) maybe due to drainage, and the beds that have plastic protection covering below the bed cover.
