Santuario Yelapa

This incredible hotel is located just 5 minutes from the beach, which is beautiful to visit at any time of the year. The transportation to get to Santuario is punctual and efficient, which is included with the lodging and perfectly designed to leave your worries behind. One really cool thing about the hotel, in my opinion, was the domes (rooms), which have a unique design and a nice view of the garden and the river. What surprised me the most was the food, which was delicious. I can confirm this as it is my fourth time coming to Santuario and ordering everything on the menu. In conclusion, Santuario is an ideal place to visit to relax and enjoy a calm sea and beautiful views and sunsets.

Simply magical

Alex and Andy are incredible, as is the food, the atmosphere, and their puppies who are super affectionate. The temazcal is something magical; you have to experience it. I want to return but with my husband to stay since the suites are beautiful.

A blissfully quiet sanctuary

Hotel Santuario more than lives up to its name. It is very much a sanctuary. Andrea and Alex are beyond helpful and kind. Andrea lent me a yoga mat and a walking stick. I felt spiritually cleansed after their indigenous sweat lodge ceremony. The food is amazing! The setting has a magic of its own. Next to a gentle fordable river, lying in one of their hammocks one can hear both the sound of the ocean and the river with its abundance of birds as well as gorgeous butterflies. Borrow one of their kayaks and allow the gentle current to take you downstream or row to the beach for an ocean swim. This place is a true gem for those seeking tranquility and peace!

A can't miss

We were there for dinner on a Friday night. We were not guests, but the place was incredibly inviting and romantic. It was magical in the jungle along the river and gorgeous grounds. Full bar and outstanding menu of fresh sea food and organic meats. We had the stuffed avocado with shrimp as an appetizer but was huge and tasty. We split an entrée which was the Molcajete seafood.....wow amazing. Entire lobster enire octopus and several shrimp in a lava rock bowl. Well it was the best last night. A must visit. The staff , Daniel, was attentive and wonderful.

Amazing

The Santuaro the most amazing remote place to spend a quiet time ! The rooms are a beautiful luxury dome like space on a lake .. you will be taken care of like your family ! Great service (service with a smile .) Mesa ( the beautiful young lady and Manuel ( cool Mexican ) are incredible they will pick you up make sure you have what you need and will be your personal tour guide , escort you to dinner and make sure you get home safely!!
Best place to go with a few couples to have a quiet place to enjoy good company,,,hope you enjoy as much as I did
