Old-fashioned studio in Kotor

The studio is in the old town, which means you should have light luggage. You also have to climb 71 steps to get to the room. The room is old-fashioned and furnished with various antiques. The bed is OK. Small bathroom, clean. Slight smell from the drain. - Thankfully the air conditioning worked so we could close the window and not be disturbed by the loud pub noise. - The owner spoke good English.
Didn't like it · Handing over the keys was a bit difficult, the host's brother let us into the room so we could get our (light!) luggage. - You have to park outside the city, the free parking lot is about 15 minutes away on foot. - Unfortunately there were a lot of mosquitoes.

convenient place to stay

it was a bit hard to find a place, but after the gate of the old city, we found a cafe, and they pointed where we can climb the stairs. Then it was a bit difficult to find, for there was no sign. But once there, the host helped us carry the suitcase, and as we requested a room with view, they prepared the room which faces the sea, which was beautiful. Once we know the place, it was easy to walk around the old city, and I really liked it. the only thing which I did not like was that the windows do not have curtains, and the wifi was quite weak, so i had to get out of the room.

The view!

The place is a bit eclectic in the decor, but all the amenities are there, the room is comfortable and the location is perfect. The view is UNBELIEVABLE, just come prepared to climb up a long staircase to get there.

Great little place in Stari Grad

This is definitely a great place with wonderful hosts who picked us up from the airport and dropped us back at no charge
The room is a little dark but the view of the bay is wonderful and a huge comfy bed
The stairs are hard on the first day but at the end of the week you can run up them

Five Star Hosts

My friend and I had the pleasure of staying at this property. While the actual room is totally adequate (as long as you don't mind the limited height of the ceilings and the walk up the flights of stairs), it is the hosts Garen and Naden who make this a memorable experience.
It was an absolute pleasure to spend time talking with them and delighting in their company. They are the most gracious hosts I have encountered on my many adventures.
They even took the time to take us on an almost 2 hour tour in their boat on the fjord. Not only that, but they offered to take us to Tivat for our plane connection.
Kotor is a magical place, especially when the cruise tours leave and you can really get a sense of the medieval town.
Having the pleasure of staying with such fabulous hosts just adds to the aura of staying in the old town of Kotor...
