Excellent hotel located about 20 minutes drive from the heart of Kotor.

No running water

Modern hotel, but no running water. As in: not a drop in the tap. Location is poor.

Modern and stylish, but not near facilities

We stayed just one night in this modern stylish hotel. A very helpful receptionist who also acted as the bar lady later! The breakfast was excellent with good choice and quality. The downside is the location which is away from any town or facilities as it appears to be on an area still under construction.

Beautiful disaster!

Hello everybody! To tell you the truth, I rarely leave comments about hotels, especially bad ones, but this was the worst experience I've ever had, and I've been around.
I'm sure there are worst cases, but taking into consideration the price and quality ratio, there's a huge gap between them.
In any case, I will try to be objective.
The interior is very stylish and modern and that's where the advantages of this hotel come to an end
Cleaning: the cleaning consists of 2 things: new towels and taking out the trash. During my one month stay in Aurel proper cleaning was provided once, and even that one time was after several complaints to the management. BTW by proper cleaning I mean simply washing the floor, toilet and changing the bed. The carpet was never vacuumed, the dust was never polished.
Laundry: Laundry usually takes about 4-5 days, so if you want your things washed, be ready to wait for them, oh yeah, and even when you finally get them, you might find someone else's clothes in your laundry bag, because they mix them up all the time
Noise: the surrounding area and the hotel itself is under constant repairs, so you can forget about sleep in the daytime (actually starting from 8 am).
Location: the hotel is situated somewhere between Tivat and Budva (Radanovici to be exact), it is standing right on the highway which is under construction, there are no supermarkets nearby. The only way of transportation is a rental car or a taxi, which is overpriced because it has to come from Tivat or Kotor.
Price: Putting together all it's disadvantages, it would be OK if at least it was cheap, but nooo. I'm sure that for ~200€ per night you can find a place with a better view and with staff that actually knows how to run a hotel.
Management: It seems as if the staff are trying their best, at least verbally, but nothing is done in practice.
But all the best to Aurel, hope they learn from their mistakes and get only better. Ciao!
