Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the Price

The staff was unhelpful and indifferent to our concerns. When we brought up our issues at the front desk, the response was dismissive, and no effort was made to resolve them. This lack of professionalism is unacceptable in the hospitality industry. Bad facilities

Lay out and location

Hotel room air condition is directly over the bed. Risky to sleep with the air con vent on you the whole night. There are lots of space in the room to install the air con.Breakfast and food from the restaurant sucks.
Location of the hotel is outside of town, so commuting to business takes time.
WiFi is available but extra slow that it is not connected full time.

Internet is very very bad. Rest of the things are ok. if u wish to get good internet at the hotel, famous hotel is not the right place for that. Wifi is very slow and always getting dropped. Im staying there since June 2018, however up to date there is no improvement. Rooms are ok, They dont have a buffet breakfast.

Quick getaway from Yangon during Thingyan holiday

Spent 3 nights here during Thingyan holiday, we were pretty happy with the price even during peak season (50$/night) and that it's not too far from Yangon either.
The room is spacious. AC works just okay. Clean bathroom, but slippery floor and yes, weird placement of shower stand.
The downside of all were the restaurant and the swimming pool.
All the other guests were allowed to swim without bathing suit.
During breakfast, food were not refilled as if the guests just had to be happy with whatever left on the table.
Tablecloth were dirty and stained. Stayed the same during the 4 days of our stay.
And worst of all, the cutlery were placed ON that very stained tablecloth.
The floor wasn't swept, window and glass door were dirty.
Food was cheap and surprisingly tasty. I am sure they loaded the food with MSG.
I may come back for the quite place. But not sure about the food. May be just need to roam around the city to find another place to eat but we just didn't go out during the holiday as we couldn't stand the heat.
