Overnight stay

Stayed 14th for one night as we had arrived from He Ho at 17:00 and were leaving for home early the following morning. We had a room on the 3rd floor which was nice and quiet. Excellent air con, clean room. I thought it was excellent value for the money
Ate in the restaurant what was good and cheap. Paid 2000 for return taxi to airport which arrived very fast. No complaints

Good Location, but very basic.

We booked a room here as a 10 hour stopover before our return to the UK.
It's exactly what it says on the tin !!
Its a good location for the airport, literally 2 minutes by taxi.
It's cheap, only £25 per room. bed and breakfast.
But it's not very clean. The bathroom was disgusting. I wouldn't even go in there without anything on my feet. No toilet roll.
We didn't stay for breakfast, so can't comment, but don't think I'd of wanted to.
If you're on a budget, maybe, but I think in future, I'd rather pay a bit more money and have something better.

Break your journey here

This hotel has few frills and even less thrills. But, as we discovered, it is a lot cheaper to travel to Myanmar with a return flight rather than with 2 x different single flights.
Therefore, if you need to fly into Yangon before flying out to somewhere else, this Hotel is ideal. It is only a $3 taxi ride and keeps you away from the traffic madness that is Yangon.
The Hotel has small but clean rooms, a very attentive reception staff that can organize early morning taxis for you and a surprisingly good roof-top restaurant.
So, there is no need to go anywhere else.

Up date to Yangon changing Money for Aussies

TODAY is 28/12/19 latest up date when arriving into Yangon Airport I had Australia dollars wit me beware when you leave the airport many touts trying to scam u try to have at least $50 US on you to get some money I didn't they wont take Aussie at Airport but met some scammer who took me to a lady who took my $100 Aussie gave 980 Kyat for $1 so I took it the next day found Fame Money Changers 152 Anawratha Road Kyauktada Township Yangoon 01-242 295 Face Book FameMoneyChanger went in there nice guy spoke good English handed over $200 Aussie no passport rate 1180 for $1 easy he also takes Korean Won Thai Bhat Vietnam Dong so easy to change money leaving airport they have AC bus across from International Airport stops at Domestic into Town 500 KYAT about 40 cent Aussie no taxi drivers or scams easy you must have correct money no change put it in the box by driver as you get on bus plenty of room for bags 24/7 services good luck Peter Brisbane

Service was excellent. Can't fault it at all. Disgusting rooms though. Dust everywhere...
Does the job for an overnight stay but would not stay more than one night.
